I also do wish this applies to computer cases as well haha

People often criticise me for choosing non-windowed version of cases over windowed version so that I can get an extra fan mount on the side panel, and I refuse to put any kind of LED to make it look like Fast and Furious

Basically. This is a poor example and not meant to be taken as an actual comparison, but it's spot on for me: it's almost like going from 30fps to 60fps, in terms of how comfortable it is.

 

Also, Func isn't that large of a company at all. It's not really surprising they were able to buy them out. They did do a few sponsored things with LMG, but they only had like what, four products? Two mice, a keyboard and a mouse mat.

If they still make the MS3 then I'll be happy, as I wanted to get one at some point, I like the ergonomics of it. Otherwise, this move doesn't bother me, it might just mean we get gaming peripherals that are usable for once without being blinded.

It's the standard Nordic keyboard layout from what I can tell. We got big enter keys.

I am pretty sure that is only for type-face, the actual physical layouts themselves are called ANSI(US) and ISO(Nordic).

 

eg. You can have a US layout on an ISO keyboard.

I can't seem to find any information about what happened to the MS-3 linesup. Is it just me? I have a bad feeling about this.

Func and Mionix are the only two companes in my knowledge that make right-handed mouses that had slots where you could rest your last two fingers on (basically a relaxed palm grip). And I really don't want one of them to discontinue a product they were really good at :(

This pisses me off. They could have at least left func's shit alone and let their new gear be its own thing. Not only have they removed func's website (it now leads to fnatic's website), they have removed any and all support materials for older func products including driver downloads, manuals, and they even went so far as to not include a support section so people who own func products can no longer get help or an rma if they need it. This is just greed on the part of fnatic and a really sloppy take over of func. They could have purchased the company and simply developed new products in conjunction with func and left it alone. Instead they had to go and fuck up everything func has worked for and basically remove any mention of them or their website.

I bought a MS-3² last year and within 3-4 months the scroll wheel was having issues, I RMA'd and they sent out a brand new one to me without any hassle. Within 3-4 months that one started having issues too. I've been holding off on a RMA until they come out with a newer version/revision but they haven't...and now this happens....

 

They better come out with a newer MS-3² cause I don't want some Sensei ripoff, I would have bought SteelSeries from the get-go.

Conclusion: Func is shit.  Their software was also shit and last update was something like 2 years prior.

I really loved the shape of the MS3-2 and the one time I used support it was great, but this acquisition and their products being iffy has really left a bad taste in my mouth.

is it me or does that mouse look like a steelseries rival ripoff

They both rip off the micrsoft intelli mouse from like 1990

Oh how I wish there was a tenkeyless keyboard with dedicated macro keys on the left and still retain the volume wheel. Imagine having the k95's dedicated macro keys, the k70's volume wheel and the k65's tenkeyless design.
