Meh, wish the furyx was on par with 980ti but oh well it is new tech after all, also how much stock did they have initially as amd seems to have the not enough stock woes.

It's generally about 10% less than 980ti, that number isn't constant but it isn't the max either, I was hoping it would be trading as it would force nvidia to actually make improvements or lower prices

Nah it's typically 10-15% worse than the 980ti. That's what makes it such a poor choice, especially since it's "small form factor" but still requires all the room for tubing and an AIO. A shorter 980ti is the best card you can get at $650.

the Fury X is slapped in between the 980 and 980Ti in average performance

while it does out perform the 980Ti in Far Cry 4

it just slower than the 980Ti for the same price

we are waiting for the MSI afterburner to update and see if the voltage can be modified and memory OC can be done

seen some unofficial OCs and it could touch 980Ti's performance

yeah, but the 980ti can oc even farther, so it wouldn't matter if the fury x can oc to the level of the 980 ti, i just want to see more DX12 benchmarks to see if it will do just as well if not better than the 980 ti

note that HBM is just in its infancy

HBM 2 will be the game changer with higher memory density and higher clock speeds
