Still better than a Macbook.

But seriously. I don't get why Alienware are still in business. They ARE worse than Apple.

...The Alienware Alpha is pretty neat, though.

Nope. The Alienware 18 is the first SLI laptop to have a desktop CPU

But, they suck? They're ugly, bulky, as a secondary function it acts as an oven on your lap. I wouldn't use it at school cause it'd be too god damn heavy and stupid looking, I wouldn't use it at home, because I could use a desktop?

I just hate the 'gamerness' of it, I don't need a desktop replacement, and besides the point, it's way to expensive for me, even more so for someone in uni. Sorry if I'm coming off as a dick, but I just kinda hate it.

You could probably buy a company like Nvidia for less than this laptop.

I also heard a very hot and underclocked 4790k works well.

When I saw the title I thought "Overpriced crap" but actually looking at those specs that quite impressive, I bet that pulls a lot of fps. I usually can't justify Alienwares pricing but this actually makes sense this time round.

System Specs:

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X

GPU: Radeon RX 7900 XT

RAM: 32GB 3600MHz

HDD: 1TB Sabrent NVMe -  WD 1TB Black - WD 2TB Green -  WD 4TB Blue

MB: Gigabyte  B550 Gaming X- RGB Disabled

PSU: Corsair RM850x 80 Plus Gold

Cooler: Noctua NH-DH15

Fine hate it all you want, it doenst appeal to you, thats fine

But for people that WANT a desktop replacement, and want something gamer looking, its appealing

Its not too expensive for me and for the job I bought it for it does it extremely well, I still edit premier videos on here and all sorts, and it still has a punch when gaming despite being 2 years old, and its an absolute TANK

Not all products can appeal to everyone you know

1080p with dual 980m's?

1440p would have been better, the perfomance difference isn't alot from 1080 to 1440p

I believe

Yeah I know, I'm not saying that it's awful for everyone. And I don't doubt it's performance, just in my honest opinion it sucks. I'm not trying to incite a massive war, I actually respect your opinion a lot, but sometimes people disagree on things, it happens. :3

No hard feelings but your laptop sucks lol (jkes, I'm kidding I'm kidding).
