Japanese car parts are generally pretty ok price wise. The germans know how to get paid though.

I've been leaning towards an A4, but it's a tough decision between a GTI and Quattro. The A4 would be great all year round, the GTI would be an insane amount of fun and so would the Quatrro. ;-;

PC: Ryzen 2600X, EVGA 1080 DT, Gigabyte X470 Aorus Gaming 5 WiFi, Corsair 2x8GB DDR4 3000Mhz, EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750W 80+ Gold, Phanteks  Enthoo EVOLV ATX

Peripherals: Logitech G502 HERO, Cooler Master ML510, Corsair K68 Cherry MX Red, Dell S2417DG YNY1D 24" 165HZ G-Sync 1440p, Acer XF251Q,

Audio: AKG K7XX, JBL SLR308 MKI, Scarlett 2i4 (2nd Gen), Sony MDR-7506, Shure SE-215, Audio-Technica AT2020
Server: Dell Poweredge T420 running ESXi, Hosting Plex and Automation services and misc. game servers; 2x Xeon E5-2400, 32GB ECC Memory, ~40TB Storage (Mix of SSDs and HDDs)

most likely, but I would not consider getting a GTI when ford is going to release the new Focus RS next year (considering it will cost slightly more than brand new GTI)

The first car I drove was a 1999 Grand Am SE 2.4L Coupe, but it was technically the family's car. It had more features than the absolute base model did, but it was a shitty car that barely ran. Sometimes it had AC, it constantly had heat, cruise control was finicky (if headlights were on, it wouldn't work, if the blinker went on, it wouldn't work), the left seat didn't adjust. Color was shit brown with a purple like tint, and lightly shit interior.

The first car that I bought was a 2009 G6 Sedan, base model with a 3.5L V6 engine. This was originally a custom ordered car, but it's not a bad car by any means. Dark blue paint (actually very uncommon from what I've seen) with chrome handles, tinted windows, chrome rims. Interior is all black with a gray ceiling and some red lighting. The only features my car doesn't have that was available is a sunroof and a monsoon sound system, but I would have replaced the speakers anyway. The tint is terrible considering it's factory tint, I mean to have it replaced with something that actually looks like tint when I come across money.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

It is a pretty interesting block

Currently driving a MK5 golf wagon. The interior is pretty nice in most VAG cars (volkswagen audi group)

-88 Ford Escort. Black with shitty darkened windows and a crappy spoiler that was really badly attached. It was pretty awful but for a first car fun enough. :D

The first car I bought for myself (as opposed to my parents old car) was a 1998 Ford Mustang GT. I bought it in 2007, I still have it for a fun weekend car.

'94 Toyota Corolla 5speed Manual. ~270k miles when it died.

Towards the end of its life it:

Had something knocking (probably bent some rods).

Other than replaceables (Brakes, Oil, Filters, timing belt) All original everything except:

New Struts in the back and front: $300

New Alternator: $90

New Belt tensioner: $15

So, for ~$405 in unexpected parts for the 6 years/80k miles I had it - I'm not complaining. At all.
