why does no one include windows prices

 

what we get mad about illegal shit but pirating windows is all good.

Of course it is all good. You can get all the good stuff that is windows. Except for free. 

 

Pirating windows hardly works anyway. Keys always running out at random points, can't install all updates... Not to mention the RAT's and TROJANS hidden on the cracked files. 

Then you are clearly an inexperienced pirate. My copy gets updates just fine becasue i know what to go for. highseeders and excellent feedback is what you want. They aren't any viruses unless you go for a trusted and well known crack.

Well you say that but you never know what backdoors have been created in cracked files. 

Windows ISO is legit, keygen was gone through a million (maybe not literally, but you get the point) times on a VM, watching what files were being written... YEah. I know what I'm doing on my Windows stuff. Kinda.

(Also W7 can be pirated w/o tools... even a 4 yo can do it...)

 

Go to uni and get a free key.

 

I think it's cheaper to buy a windows key than go to uni to get a free windows key.

i believe in this too, however some people dont want to pretty much because ''i dont want to'' is a sifficient reason.

Well my version of Windows is fine (I have it pirated) and I can install all the updates.

just because one person has a great experience with something doesnt mean we all will..... :'c sadly/...

yeah, but minecraft wasnt responsible for my whole pc, so its ok ive it crashes, bugs out, is poorly optimized, etc.

that doesnt mean you cant just get ubuntu, and set steam to always run in big picture. (which is basically just what steam OS is, except its bare-bones linux instead of ubuntu)

O.o. I know so many people that have a pirated copy of windows with NP. I myself literally googled a key and used the first one that appeared (literally the first link) and it hasn't expired (only reason I did that is because I couldn't be bothered re-installing windows as I needed to install the N version of pro when I installed pro gg me + I have home prem too which ofc wouldn't work with a pro installation).

 

I smashed a PS4 simply by getting these (AUD):

Xeon X5450 - $54

GTX 650ti 2GB - $100

Corsair VS650 -  $100

Coolermaster Sedon 120V - $44

 

Given:

PS4 is more powerful than that.  The PS4's APU performs like a desktop that has a amd r9 270 + it seems it (I have a PS4).

 

Tbh people shouldn't really compare a gaming pc/steamos pc price vs a console price. The console games cost way way way more..

It's literally too easy to break Windows activation. Windows 7 and prior can be activated by injecting a SLIC into the bios before Windows boots. Which fools it into thinking it's activated without modifying any files at all (this is how OEM's activate machines permanently on a large scale). Windows 8 and 8.1 uses a much tougher activation method (network only). Tho even that has been broken by emulating a KMS server locally that captures the traffic and responds with the proper packets to trigger the activation process (180 days). I won't go into further detail as I am not condoning piracy. Tho it can be done without a single modification to the file system.

cause its not hard to get a legal windows on the cheap. 

I got xp for free, win 7 I payed $30-$40 for, I got 2 licensed of win8 for under $50

The truth is, you can always build a rig that will kill consoles performance wise. But you will never kill a console for its simplicity. You turn on your console, pick your game, and play. No screwing with drivers, temps, and settings. 

 

 

PC is defiantly my main gaming platform, free games, steam sales, and lowtemps high FPS. But I will always have a console in my livingroom for when I just want to turn it on, and play.

Is it bad that my dream setup only costs a few thousand not counting the obutto?
