1st PC Component that You Purchased?

reapersivan

Hey, I was just wondering, what was the 1st PC component that you bought for your build, and perhaps why?? The CPU, GPU, MotherBoard, AfterMarket Fan, Power Supply, HDD, etc....

The first thing I bought for my build was The Radeon R9 270 from Sapphire at 180$. I chose to purchase the most expensive part of my budget build first.

I bought a CPU first and then a motherboard for it then the rest of the build.

I think that is a pretty good logical order.

System: Thinkpad T460

I haven't bought them yet nor do I know when I will however, I'm going to try to go cheapest to most expensive or all at once if I can. Which incidentally the most expensive part of my build. It will cost about $1,300 but for that much I'm getting a 1440p curved display perfect for content creation.

Case.

It seemed the most logical. I bought most everything else at the same time though.

Not for my build, but the first PC component I bought was a hard drive. A WD Blue to replace the old one in my previous PC.
