How do you enable booting from the keyboard? Is a feature specific to your motherboard?

How do you enable booting from the keyboard? Is a feature specific to your motherboard?

yes it has a setting in bios to power on by a few different ways, one was by usb ,so pretty much just hit any button on the keyboard and it turns on.

was pretty happy that this feature worked wirelessly ,just have to turn off the keyboard when i am done with it so no accidently turn ons.

  • 2 weeks later...

Just a little update I have about 4 feet of snow in my backyard and on my deck ,so I been having a hard time trying to get my saws going to make some pieces I need desperately to go forth with my build. As soon as I see a nice day or two I will be getting things done.

going to be trying out my new i5-4670k this weekend that I pick up today, from a parts computer .

So maybe if I can keep my thermals in check, Nintendo with unlocked i5  !!!!  :D

Other than that I have been enjoying games with my kids on the big screen .

I let you know how it goes for sure .

Right now I pull about 110w max gaming ,so with the i5 I feel that it will be about 30w more.

What power brick did you get?(would check out your thread but I am at work)

I am to excited i5 preparations start tonight !

That cooler looks so nice. I have forgotten: How did it perform? I'll be putting it on an E7400 (maybe a C2Q later on) in a Silverstone ML03B, so I'm kinda curious. Also, how loud is it?

if i could get this at 4.7 at 1.3 I would be very lucky because my current cpu is stable at 4.7ghz at 1.26v

I will push a little bit before I close the case again ,but at stock clocks 3.8ghz turbo I would be happy . going to be doing some undervolting and overclocking tomorrow . I really don't care if I have to run it at stock clocks with a undervolt. I know that's a waste of a K model but I got this chip real cheap .

I know that ,she just jumped up there while I was taking a pic.she has never done that before, she was acting really weird last night.

In the end I brought her up to my bedroom while I finished building.

Thanks for the heads up tho.
