I've done plenty but yeah they're a pain sometimes. I small plastic spudger like in my ifixit tool kit is really good for lifting them up on one side to get them off, back on is easier. I've installed probably 6 or 7 lil wifi cards and had the antennas off and on probably a couple dozen times at this point, but some are always harder than others for some reason.

I have started of my Black Friday shopping with buying Steam Games I wanted for a long time and also some Crypto:

So bought 20$ each worth of Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Shiba Inu and Ethereum on Coinbase. The rates were just going down so it was fitting.

I mainly wanted Portal and Left 4 dead and saw that the old Valve Games Bundle was on massive discount so I just got the whole thing. I know of the existence of Black Mesa.

I got this case,and it's the only one I could find here in my f..d up country particulary for this model Tab A6 2016.

I like the design,keyboard is neat...

A case looks a little bit heavier then I thought but nice protection.

I did payed a lot for it,but shipment of these things to Bosnia is more expensive then the product.

I payed 35 euros with shipping from other city.

 

 

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with,and even if you think I'm rude or not polite,forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Went to a couple thrift stores yesterday and found this Crimson Red DS Lite:

Interestingly, it seems like it was only sold in the USA and the Netherlands (which I am from the latter). The handheld looks to be a USA unit though, as indicated by the model name on the back and the fact it came with a North American and European charger. Makes me wonder if it was sold like this in the Netherlands, or if someone imported it from the USA.

Also makes me wonder why though. Why was it only released in US and NL. The cobalt blue counterpart was released exclusively in USA and Canada. (all the above info from https://consolevariations.com/ by the way, great website for console collectors/enthusiasts), so why was it not released in all of Europe, why only the Netherlands of all places?

Doesn't seem a very valuable handheld, at about $30 (USD) for the handheld on its own + charger.

 

It's in pretty good shape, excluding the hinge which just flops open. Fortunately I have a hinge laying around somewhere - left-over from a previous DS Lite mod - so I should be able to restore this handheld pretty easily.

Got the vertical mount fitted in my 011-D.  Had some issues to start with frame dips even in GTA.  Looked in GPU-Z and saw the card was running in x4 speed.  Reseated everything back in windows and GPU-Z and still @ x4 3.0.  So i hit the bios changed the max speed from auto to Gen 3 on both PCIe slots.  then changed the configuration from Auto to x16/x0 and she's purring through my games like a kitten now.

Magic Trackpad 1, for the Hackintosh.

The only reason I used my Magic Mouse 1 was for the gestures and not really the mouse capability, so the Trackpad made the most sense. I guess I could have gotten a 2, but the 1 was free because family friends needed to get rid of stuff, and I like the coinroll style (at least that's what I call it).

Newegg has 2TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus drives for $140 off right now, so I’m upgrading my nearly full 1TB SATA drive, and that SATA drive is replacing a 500GB spinning drive in my PS4.

another collectors fair thingy ..ended with the two cars below , used to modify and race them (the small one)in the tracks long ago  ..quite popular in Japan and asian region,pretty sure some of you might recognise them .. also , the 3rd tacobell in the country just opened which is a short drive away from home(the other were located even further away ) .. though since it was opening day when i got there , well about a 40ish min wait to take away 😅
