8/8 m8 framing on point. i would edit the photo and add more vibrance/clarity and sharpness to make the clouds pop

9/10, very nice photo, nothing out of focus and everything sharp, the only thing that bothers me are the shadows at the trashcan and the sign, like there are 2 light sources.

a photo form new years eve, which is seemingly still had around, not edited so far.

those half circles are streetlights, don't ask me how

4/10, When shooting fireworks you really need a tripod and a long exposure.

I've tried shooting fireworks myself and it's not easy if you don't know in which direction the nex one is coming from and when it'll explode.

If it's a fireworks display it's easier.

You might want to crop the image too.

Edit:

@Flight1sim I was a seconds after you xD

6/10, I think the image is a bit dark and it's hard to tell what the subject is.

Try to brighten it up a bit and crop it down to 16:7 or 16:8 to get a wider image.

Really beautiful scene and you captured it well. Makes me long for the snow.

9/10 I really love this photo. The dark sky and what I can only assume is a gradient that you have added in the bottom really work to draw the viewers eyes to the mountains. The only complaint is not really anything you can control but the combination of the distance from the mountain, and the clouds covering it make them appear smaller than I would expect they actually are. Apart from that, a fantastic photo.

I actually haven't edited it at all. Thats a straight conversion from the RAW file without any editing.

8/10 i would reposition the camera so the cross can be seen sticking out of the ground, adding a b&w filter would add to the subject

I like the concept and shadows....I feel its just to dark and your a bit to far away making it a bit distracting... Its just not doing it for me. 4/10 (Just being honest)

Another photo I snapped off the back of the snow cat :)

Edit: Wow I suck at taking pictures haha

Its a good scenery photo, just that the lighting situation made it a difficult shot, some shadowed areas are a little to dark in my opinion, and the lense flare seems a bit excessive.

My photo, I'm at Mammoth Mountain  :P . I have some more ski photos coming soon. Going out to a local resort this tuesday afternoon for night skiing!

Very interesting! I love trips like these. I find walking on a mountain very relaxing. (only mentally though haha)

Here's a photo of my friends, sitting in front of a campfire at the beach.   ( BTW I just blurred their faces. There is nothing wrong with them :P )

@KirbyTech

4/10  This could be an interesting product shot style photo.  Unfortunately the whole pen would have to be in the shot.  As it sits now it looks like you took a snapshot of a pen on your desk.  If you retook the shot on the same background with the whole pen in the shot and maybe with a nicer pen.  Then it would be a much nicer shot.

8/10  Its a great shot!.  I think I would have preferred a tighter crop but I really like the way you have the birds eye contact and how you have it isolated from the background.

My submission is just a cell phone (Note 4) shot of a new knife that I just had delivered...  Edited in Instagram.  Lighting was provided by my computer monitor.  Handles/scales of the knife are polished titanium with Ebony inlays.

@Silvercall

I was legitimately afraid it was going to attack me. I only have a 55-200 for range. So cropped any tighter and the image quality is lower than I like. But ya it had dive bombed my car so like the genius I am I decides to get out.

It's amazing how good there hearing is. There is no sneaking up on a hawk

9/10, would like the bird more to the left but image looks real good except that it seems that there was a branch in the way of the photo, so that's a bit distracting.

7/10. Not much depth in the photo, overall it's a nice composition. Maybe you can try to have another shot with the sun rising/setting behind.
