To be fair he didn't drop the phone. He did drop himself into the pool in a non controlled manner tho.

With the removal of the fingerprint sensor in the power button, I think I'm not alone when I say in screen fingerprint reading sucks comparatively.
would love to see him run the last Samsung galaxy phone with this feature, if he makes a full in-depth review, it could convince some Samsung execs to bring it back and quit with the in-screen fingerprint reading.

 

This phone is also small form factor and still has decent speed. Very much underrated imo

I think watching the entire video he was kind of leaning towards iPhone a little bit more. I think the iPhone 15 Pro non-max would be perfect. USB3, USB c, great cameras to take pics of your children, great app support as you wanted, great modem for cellular connectivity, Wi-Fi 6e support, not too large of a phone, battery life will last you all day with your usage. Kind of has everything you wanted and is finally different than the fold. I have the fold 5 and it is great but I also have the 15 Pro and pro max and also Sony Xperia 1v and s23 ultra and my use case is pretty similar to yours and the iPhone 15 Pro is just that sweet spot. Good luck with whatever choice you make!
