You invested in the Framework Laptop, you should try the Fairfone 5image.thumb.png.8b17494f5b3147b82752a42a4dc39814.png

I agree with this. As being a Tech Reviewer as well as someone who i would hope is all for Right to Repair, I think you should go with the Fairphone 5 simply because i feel it would line up with your lifestyle well.

Pixel 8 Pro launches tomorrow (October 4th). Pixel pro has a big screen while the standard model is slightly smaller, and all new pixels have good cameras, are pretty repairable with the Ifixit partnership and if rumours are to be believed, 7 years of security updates with these new models.

You should go with Zfold 5 or s23 ultra or maybe even Sony Xperia markv. These are quite decent options

I've used Samsung phones for majority of my phone carrying life, until my Samsung Galaxy A70 apparently couldn't be repaired because of a design flaw, fairly certain it worked just as it was designed and be unrepairable after 4 years, and I'm not going to reward Samsung for that, so now I have Google pixel 6 pro and I've enjoyed it. and since you like folding phones, and money is no opsticle, maybe the Google Pixel Fold, Google's plain Android has been great.

Two phones.  One iOS and one android.

Separate personal and business.  Or separate life, from secure and private devices and contact information.

An example would be to get another android phone, but add an iPhone (and perhaps Apple laptop for the continuity stuff) for secure work etc.

Why choose when you can double the content?

Fairphone is an excellent phone because:

  1. It cares for people and planet by using fair and recycled materials, improving working conditions, and reducing CO2 emissions.
  2. It is built to last with a long hardware and software warranty, modular parts, and easy access to support.
  3. It gives you a choice of operating systems, including /e/OS, a privacy-friendly and de-googled syste.
  4. It lets you recycle your old phone and reduce the waste.

Fold 5 or Google pixel fold, leaning twords the latter.

I was sold on the fold 3 back when you got it and made the first update about daily driving it. Had pretty much the same issues with it, with the screen protector and microfractures on the inside screen. Now I'm thinking it's time for a change but can't decide between fold5, pixel fold and w8ing for second gen pixel fold.
