I'm trying to find an old WAN show where Linus was discussing a tech event (most probably CES) and was discussing how he gained access to a lot of places because he had a professional camera and how his YouTuber cred gave him access to a closed off car event alongside a few other YouTubers who told the organizers they were media influencers with a few million subs between them. I've tried searching the forums and YouTube using every combination of keywords I could think of to no avail; if anyone knows what I'm talking about- can you link it please?

but here is the thing, Trump had to respond, If Trump and the UK + France didn't respond to Syria using chemical bombs on civilians which is a war crime even if those people were rebels so even though Trump promised to pull out with that region getting more and more tense the US needs a larger presence in the middle east to protect it Allies and interests there similar to the rest of the world with Russia, North Korea, and China each threatening war with them or there allies.

 

Also the second thing pulling out of Syria would be no good, then the US and its allies couldn't bomb ISIS and hold the Assad regime accountable for there actions if they bomb again meaning if the US signed, there promise to the people would be a threat with no backing, and second of all Russia who proposed this would most likely not follow through similar to what they have done like supporting the Ukraine civil war even though they claimed not to be or that they would remove the chemicals from Syria. They knew it wouldn't pass they just did this to gain a morale high ground over the west to seem like the peace keepers.

Actually, when I first heard about them trying to pull troops out.  Well, I just mostly just shake my head.

I was over in the desert late last year.  That section of the world is a complete and utter mess.  The stuff I had to keep watch on....yeah, lets just say, it is not pretty at all over in that part of the world (reasons I can't blame the folks there for trying to get away from that crap).

The US (& the UK, where I live - other countries too ofc) have a track record of lying when starting wars/justifying military action. I don't believe Assad gassed his own citizens, I was watching an interview with Assad and he's actually (seemingly) a very smart guy with a lot of composure and he himself said why would he do that because he literally gains nothing from it & he has gained nothing but hate. Do you think a (seemingly) intelligent person with a lot of composure would do something that makes the rest of the world hate him..? If you still disagree look at the treatment of people in the US/UK and then tell me the systems not corrupt to the bone. I won't provide examples because I'm ranting at this point but please do your due diligence. There's a lot to it and I can't do it justice without writing like 5000+ words (even then, I don't know half of it).

Quick, sell them before GPU prices drop any more and then buy some new 1180s!

 

 

Grabbed a bunch of parts on Amazon for another build I'm doing. Should be fun but I'm also swamped at work so I might not be able to get around to it any time soon. Such is life I guess lol.

I will probably sell them since I have two Titan Xps as well.  I usually only jump to new archs if a good boost comes to F@H and BOINC crunching.  I don't do much gaming anymore, got other hobbies I rather put time into.
