PNY 3070 at your cost?  How much is that, assuming you've paid scalper prices anyway? 😄

 I paid 1100 each.

Wow. That's basically my total PPD between both CPU and GPU (on Windows). But with just your CPU.

Impressive.

It got better.  Here's the full system snapshot.

My Mac-Mini WU performance has tanked, should I reduce the cores to discourage use of the efficiency cores?  At first it seemed to help to use all cores, but it seems some projects REALLY don't like it.

Of course it would help if FAHControl worked properly on that machine, for some reason it constantly loses connection to FAHClient making changing settings problematic.  I don't understand it as I can telnet into FAHClient absolutely fine, but FAHControl and my monitoring script goes through periods of just not working.

I've had similar problems across multiple MacOS major versions on 4 systems.  Their latest release is just crap at being able to be connected to.  Monitors remote linux machines and the like great.

My office machine is finally capable of doing some CPU folding now. I purchased and installed a Scythe Fuma 2 cooler to replace the crappy stock Intel cooler, and so far it's been wonderful. It's strange sitting next to this computer and barely being able to hear it!

If you feel nostalgic for the sound, I'm sure you could plug it into a spare system fan pin on the motherboard. 😆

I won't miss that sound for a long time. I've still got a few more machines with the same stock cooler, so I still hear it elsewhere.

Whelp,

Looks like I'm logging 0 points today.

The server seems to be stuck on a particularly long WU, if it ends within the next couple of hours then maybe. But eh.
