fairly sure it's just the boxes, you pay for the shipping when dropping the box off, that's how it was when I ordered them to ship off sections of my MTG collection

This is correct, the boxes have no pre-paid postage. They are just cardboard boxes, you pay postage when you drop it off at the post office. I know for a fact because I sent out a eBay item less than 2 weeks ago and these boxes is how I sent it.

In short - These boxes you think you are getting an oh so good deal on... are... dun dun dun.... NOT A GOOD DEAL because if you want a free box, you are most likely to cheap to actually pay for a priority rate fee.

Just boxes and there not prepaid and can only be used for priority mail, its basically figured into the price.

Legally your getting them with intent to ship with them and you cant use them for anything else. Just read what your agreeing to when you get them.

Still usually cheaper than ups and fedex. Also now 2 day guaranteed and well you dont have to have or find a box.

That's actually not true. I sell a lot of stuff on Amazon so I ship very frequently. The flat rate padded envelope is the cheapest way to ship things that are over 13oz and can't fit in the small flat rate box.

ive found the small box and padded envelope to be a great deal. The medium and large are only good if your shipping heavy things as just normal weight based priority is usually cheaper.
