If you have an "old" PSU the adapter that Silverstone made uses 2x 8 pin power connectors to supply the new 12 pin power connector. So if you have an old PSU you would have to sacrifice 4x 8 pin connectors to power 2x 12 pin connectors. Making it effectively a 32 pin GPU.

Well, in a datacenter there's direct A/C cooling from the intake (front) side, so it's not a problem.

Curious especially about 3070, more precisely the price. Hope is 500€ or lower but I have doubts considering current pricing. That is something I might be able to swallow but that's about it. If not 3060 is go to for me.

Just saw on the Asus cards, two HDMI connectors. YES! What took them so long? Too many DP before.

In a twist of events, Nvidia GeForce 3090 is powered by Intel Xe graphics chip.

Company announces that it will no longer make be gaming GPUs.

Intel on stage announces that they will improve their GPU with a full yearly release of their GPUs drivers, and now promises 10% less bugs than before, and "This time, for real now, no joke, unlike the 20 other times we said it in the past, really support all your games... watch me playing this amazing video game live on stage, right here and then.... let me start VLC...."

 

 

On a serious note, I hope that the triple slot card 3090 is only Nvidia special cooler to be special, but can indeed operate fine with your typical dual or dual and half cooler as pictured by OP. Only a few more minutes to know.

 

Personally, I am more interested in the 3060 and 3070... which is what I can only afford thanks to Nvidia crazy pricing... I sure hope that AMD GPU is interesting enough to push Nvidia to drop their prices. We need competition. I doubt AMD next GPU will beat Nvidia top of the line (which, if the rumors are true, are just overkill specs for most people), but if it can compete close to the 3080, it will be huge.

Motherboard tier list. Tier A for overclocking 5950x. Tier B for overclocking 5900x, Tier C for overclocking 5800X. Tier D for overclocking 5600X. Tier F for 4/6 core Cpus at stock. Tier E avoid.

(Also case airflow matter or if you are using Downcraft air cooler)

( You can overclock Tier C just fine, but it can get very loud, that is why it is not recommended for overclocking, same with tier D)
