If TX-M was fully modular, it would be better than RMx.

Care to elaborate why ?

Talking about the newer version, that is.

I'm sure Aris will have a review or will publish his Cybenetics reports soon enough.

Sorry... I just realized it's MWE Gold, not MWE Bronze. I am blind.

However, the CX-F would still be a safer choice.

Thanks!!! 💕

Tier NO - "I have no idea what is it'. Not even a single photo of it's label anywhere to at least deduct something. Not to mention actual reviews or teardowns. Likely some cheap-ass group reg stuff, so tier D/E.

Let's put it this way... the PSU is "230V only" and the only OCPC PSUs on 80 PLUS are full range input.  So even the 80 PLUS cert if fake.

Well unfortunately many people still think that if they choose 80 plus Bronze/Gold and sort from the lowest price it will be a good PSU.

Avoid Seasonic and Seasonic based PSUs if you want to use it with high-end graphics cards. Corsair HX Platinum/HXi/ or be quiet Dark Power Pro 12 is the way to go if you want one of the best PSUs (besides the AX1600i) without issues with high-end GPUs. A bit cheaper but also good are Corsair Rm1000x 2018/2021 and Thermaltake GF1 1000w

You don't even need 750w.

Why? The gx 650W did run 3080 just as well as rmx or leadex v or xpg core reactor. What you want to avoid is spending like crazy for a psu that you dont really need. Any of the quality psu:s with 850W will be enough for ryzen 5000 and 3090/6900XT. 1000W or more makes sense if you plan to build a rendering rig with two gpu:s.

At a glance, looks very similar to MWE Gold, refreshed to ATX 2.52, but i don't think there were any reviews.

Pretty much the only difference would be in the acoustic performance but yeah, why not.

Come on, really? Without any justification or reason as to why? I've bought 3 Seasonic PSUs for different builds over the last decade and all have been faultless.

TLDR - Citation needed. Especially if you immediately suggest alternatives that can provide far more power than is necessary for a 3080.

It's the reason I wish tier lists didn't exist - you get flat out random statements without any justification, which should be mandatory on a thread such as this one.

Yeah, really. This was my reaction to a question from @kazenorin That question is moved to

He/she was thinking about to purchase a Prime Ti and that's not the best choice with the latest high-end GPUs. If you have another (for example the PSUs I mentioned) choice besides Seasonic, that's always the better choice.

They were probably talking about issues with Prime and RTX3080/3090 GPUs specifically, there are enough talk in this thread about that at this point but if you didn't follow that sure, take a look here : https://linustechtips.com/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list/page/167/
