YouTube LTT channel older videos 480p max???

So as I'm looking at some of the older videos older than 4 months the max quality that you can set on playback is 480p???

But not all of them are stuck at 480p some are at 720p, and I know there was 1080p option before.

Is this just at my end or is anyone else seeing this?

No difference if I'm logged in on YT or not.

Why is this?

ahh it looks like the CDN node that was closest to me did not had that content and now after few refreshes it does blah...

It should have offered me higher quality from other nodes, not only from the one closest to me.

Hmm, when I looked on Linus's channel, these two videos were only at 480p, but after that,

 

This was the first one I saw that was in 720p,

 

 

And this is the first 1080p one I came across.

 

 

(I didn't look for the first 1440p or 4K video though.)
