Actually, I think that is not true, 2060 should be doing around 0.8-1m if I am not wrong and 2070 is doing same or a little bit more than 1080 Ti.

Me and @palespartan are hard at work processing the update,

 

we are confident enough to reduce our validation resolution to every 50 entries or so. If anything comes up we will masscheck the area 50 above and below. If we see a major problem we will hand validate the whole sheet.

This is really great fun. tweaking some settings RIIIGht now and should be steady over 2M PPD now

I'm not folding this year because I'm afraid of how much electricity it uses and how much it stresses my GPU and CPU for that matter, it's not healthy for me to be paranoid about the two guys labouring away like that.

 

It gets loud and hot, and folding pegs my CPU to max frequency - for example, if I've OC'd to 5.1GHz, it will peg my CPU to 5.1GHz - and it's so annoying. GPU usage is always at 100% and it gets so hot and concerning.

If you look at the info from @Gorgon it shows his 2060s pulling about 1.2-1.3m ppd while my 2070 is pulling 1.4-1.7m ppd and my 1080ti is 1.1-1.3m ppd. But I am also running the 2070 on ubuntu and gorgon is running his 2060s on linux as well while my 1080ti is running on windows so maybe that's part of the difference.

Crammed my old laptop onto my work bench and added it to the mix.  Not sure what good an old 850M is worth but it can't hurt.  Now if I can convince my sister to fire up the computer I built for her with another 1080 ti I'd be doing real good.
