I like to read manga and Feeling like reading "isekai kenkokuki" too much these days. This is my favourite manga.

i like to read manga, but im old school, i only like to read them on paper, not screens, at least not the glowy ones.

i havent read manga in paper for years, partly i dont have the money to import them; even i do, i dont have the time.

 

stuff i like: gunnm (bastarded name: battle angel alita), berserk, detective conan, blame!, jojo, etc

 

i really not into recent stuff however, isekai stuff is one of them. generally avoid cheap high school fantasy / harem / ecchi stuff; especially light novel adaptation. one exception is tolove-ru, it's okay in my book.

 

the only isekai adaption work i think is somewhat okay is gate, point being the plot makes sense, characters are smart, not some whiny bitchy high school low life. i wantch the first 2 series of anime, they feels a bit rush, i heard the manga is better tho.

I know there's a form of Japanese comics that are frowned upon for being a grey area - a grey area because they're comics and 'interpreted' differently, I knew it wasn't anime, so wondered if that's what manga was.

And manga was the only other thing i'd heard of.

I read a few, mostly ones in the fantasy or comedy genre.  Lately though, I been reading the Light Novels now.

Yes manga, webtoons, webnovels. More so than I watch anime anymore.

 

Chinese ones are interesting because of their absurdity (they're obsessed with OP main characters).

mangoes taste very nice. best way I can describe it is like an orange but instead of being sour it's sweet.

ok now on-topic: yes I do occasionally read manga, although it's stuff like initial d and wangan midnight.

Like anime it's full of trash and sometimes trash is enjoyable. There's good stuff here and there too of course.

I prefer paper, but as that's not an option in 99.99999999% of cases I tend to find it on the web somewhere. Il just go where it has the most chapters. Il read on my phone or on my desktop but never really on my laptop

When I first saw some jojo episode on tv, and some guy introduced himself as "Robert E.O. Speedwagon" then proceeded to talk like he'd always been there I lost it, funny shit. Still haven't watched jojo, but seen a few episodes on adult swim
