Don't like it then don't buy it. Speak with your wallet.

I think the bigger issue is that people are already trying to blame some of these shootings on violent video games. We don't need to give them more fuel to justify regulating games because they are bad influences. I would say it's not something that should be on steam because of this very reason. I would rather censor this game then have to censor all violent games because one ruined it for the rest.

If you leave a gun on the table it will prop itself up and shoot you.

I swear, mine must be defective.  I leave them alone all day, and when I come home I find they haven't budged an inch.  Of course, I always keep one of them on a short leash all day, so maybe that's the evil one of the bunch.  It just doesn't have an opportunity to act out.

It should be removed, but not because of what it portrays. It should be removed because shovelware like this is constantly flooding steam and burying indie games that have some actual effort put into them.

As for the violence in the game, it may be insensitive and in bad taste, but there are plenty of studies that prove there is no link between videogames and gun violence. Besides, Hatred was still on steam last time I checked and so are things like gta and postal, which definitely don't shy away from letting you mow down civilians at will.

i reconsidered (let's hope i don't regret it) ...the game is just depicting something that became almost a daily event on the US and that no one seems to want to do something to stop, so i have a little hard time understanding how the game in itself is the problem?

It doesn't make any sense, at least to me. I think everyone should play it and people against it should encourage it, maybe who knows...

It's stupid i agree, but the game is not the problem.

Not very different from baning a game about Nazis in Israel. Point completely missed.

This game is CLEARLY bait. They want it to be banned so they can go on a free speech offensive

There are plenty of reasons to remove this from steam that have nothing to do with the game's gameplay... valve could very easily say its quality isn't up to standard (although they have driven that standard into the ground sadly).

That's in an airport though, assuming you're on about the no Russian mission, and it has a warning with the option to skip the mission, due to the complaints it received.

An airport doesn't immediately put the thought of children into your head like a school does.

Still the same topic of shooting civilians, and dont forget, playing/buying the game is also optional.

If we're going onto the shooting civilians debate then what about games like hitman where you can shoot civ's, and whatever that new spy party game is that alot of the YouTube gamers are playing.

don't really see where the problem is?

looking at the screenshots doesn't even look well made

Probably DOA without even removing it form the store

You're better off buying Killing Floor

Or PUBG and see if you can dominate the school yard they have there

Wasn't that long ago that Medal of Honor Warfighter let you play as an actual Taliban fighter in multiplayer so you ended up killing coalition troops.

Is it in bad taste? Yeah.

But isn't the very foundation of "the west" supposed to be that you can do what you want as long as you don't hurt anyone?

I'm not agreeing either way, but you can't have it both ways.

That's the libertarian view of freedom.  My POV is that just because something is allowed to exist, doesn't mean we have to give it a platform.  Standards exist for a reason.  Make no mistake, I would defend to my dying breath their right to make vile, disgusting, putrid nonsense such as this; that doesn't mean I think it should be in any way promoted by people of conscience.

I'd provide some examples, but they'd start crossing into politics, which wouldn't end well.

Just because the players here dont represent teachers and they are armed, that makes it acceptable? Or where do you draw the line? :D TBH, its a game, whatever yo do, I dont care.

I would argue that it is.  It's meant to replicate a heinous act (shooting civilians in a school, regardless of whether there are children present or not), and that's without getting into the horrendous timing of it.

cant blame no games for USA's problems

I haven't seen anyone trying to blame this game or any other, the question is whether it deserves to be on Steam.
