Haha, yeah it'd probably be too small of a screen for that resolution. Wish they'd made it a 36" 16:10 or something similar though.

I remember posting about UP3017Q Dell's 4k OLED 120Hz monitor last year.


Each year they come up with beautiful (and expensive :P) product like this on CES.

I just want to see one in person with 8k content.
I don't have any interest in buying it this early... is what i tell myself lol

Higher frame rate over higher resolution.

No, retina as in eye is like 27K per eye. Your eye also isn't a monitor but after about 27K you can't tell the difference from any distance away

The monitor is not for general consumers. It's designed for professionals, and with HDR support for televisions and online streaming services coming, we need monitors like these with support for wider color gamuts and better brightness levels in order to properly grade in HDR.

Why buy a Monitor with a resolution that will be indistinguishable from 4K (or maybe even 1080p) at that size?
