Desktop (i7-8700 7/12 threads, GTX 1060 3GB) 418905 with both running with brand new WUs.

Laptop (GTX 1050M and 17-7700HQ 5/8 threads) 43478 with WUs from last night before I hibernated my PC, with 2 hours still to go on the CPU, 2.5 hours on the GPU.

First system seems alright but that 1050M alone should be pulling at least 92k PPD, not sure what's up there, maybe TT or you looked at start of it's WU.

Been folding a week. Is the only Linus stats for lifetime points? What about this month? I can't comptete with people doing this for years. I know... not a competition... and that's why I have two 2080 TIs in an NVlink (I know it's stupid)... because I'm a realist.

My Stats

Well boys.  I'm here.  I've been folding since probably 2006 and only in the winter times (going to run it for a while longer probably to fight the virus).  I'm ranked in the top 15000 of worldwide folders and I'm happy to be on the LTT team.

I started folding right after I saw the LTT video - like a lot of the folks here.

So far:

image.png.a06c79fa9420529c1280e4080bce6430.png

Running on r9 3900x and Radeon 5700xt since the beginning... and currently have the front, side, and top covers off of my rig with a fan blowing on my gpu...lol.

Also can't wait till those work units are more stable... I still have a lot of idle time on the GPU... CPU's been pretty consistently busy.

Main Rig: CPU: Ryzen 9 3900x | Motherboard: Asus PRIME X570-PRO | RAM: 16GB Crucial Ballistix Elite DDR4 3600 (2x8GB) CL-16-18-18 | GPU: Radeon RX5700XT | Case: NZXT H700 - Black/White | Storage: Inland 512GB M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4 | PSU: CORSAIR RM 850X 80+ Gold | Display(s): Alienware 34" Curved Monitor - AW3418DW | Cooling: CORSAIR H100i RGB Platinum AIO

Running an Intel i8700K with an EVGA RTX 2080Ti FTW3 pretty much 24/7 for a week now. Theoretical maximum is probably somewhere in the 2.5Mil/24h range. CPU seems to be getting a lot folding works but the GPU sits idle approximately 50% of the time. Only yesterday I finally broke the 1Mil/24h mark so WU distribution is definitely improving. Workload is better during the day but when unsupervised during the night the folding work staggers a bit.

Very little optimization is necessary at the moment since the bottleneck is somewhere (the WU distribution) where I cannot do much to improve other than obsessively hitting "pause/fold" when the connection times are getting longer.

Happy to be folding! :D

New user to this forum, been watching LTT for many years on youtube. Seen the "Here's How YOU Can Help Find a Cure for COVID-19!" video on its 1st/2nd day of release, and some days before that I heard about FAH from a post on facebook by PCMR. So I decided to get involved, and been using the LTT FAR team number.

My PC, primarily I built it for gaming: Intel i9 10900X (10c/20t), ASUS 2080 Ti.

I've been "casually" using this FAH program since the 22nd of March. The more I've used it the more I've found I'm really getting into this more. Coming from a gamer perspective its a very strange hobby in terms of self entertainment (PPD score?) lol.

So I'd discovered that my GPU is like a God mode card for FAH, and luckily I've not had any problems with FAH other than the usual recent issues due to the FAH servers being overloaded.

And so as of today I've bought myself a 2nd 2080 Ti just for FAH, as no game currently really fully uses a single 2080 Ti anyway, at least on my main 3440x1440@100Hz screen, with a 2560x1440 side. My 2nd 2080 Ti will probably be delivered this Friday.

I noticed yesterday or the day before my PPD on the advanced window, an insane PPD! Normally when I check it out its usually at 2.5 to 2.8m PPD, but then I noticed it at 3.2m and it just kept going up and up until this: see attached screenshot, its 3.5m! I've not seen it go above 2.9m since.

Actually, a lot of newer games can fully use a single 2080 Ti if you configure your settings right. As well as some older games (CS:GO for example with unlimited fps).

Are you by any chance running Acer Predator x34? ;)

No its the ASUS PG348Q, I've been a bit of a ASUS fanboy for about 15 years now, just a bit wounded lately that they've become probably the most expensive brand, I don't want to big them up though In case I jinx myself... err wait.. (grey area alert! lol).

I'm not all that bothered about 4k and beyond 100fps, I'm 39 now so not into professional or proper hardcore/competition style best of the best type of gaming.
I've got a 3440x1440 screen with a side, I'll probably jump to 4k in 3+ years, most gamer's according to Steam still seem to be using 1080p anyway. 10 years ago I had a 3x 27" 1920x1080 60Hz setup run from 2x 570 GTX's.

1080p will be used for a long time and will probably keep being in top spot on steam for decades to come.

I personally have one monitor only for CS:GO and competitive games (Benq 240Hz 1080p) and second one for movies or single player games (Acer Predator x34).

Oh, we went a bit of topic, so let's at least brag about F@H scores...

Finally hit top 25 (my long-term goal since 2018) in LTT team as of two days ago:

An odd milestone to pass but really shows how much more efficient new hardware is and that the points scale has shifted a bunch over time.  I'll break the 7million point mark later today in less than 200 WU's when compared to over ten years ago it took me almost 14k WU's to get to the same point.

Just got my computer up and running. It says I'll get 795K points in one day? Is that actually doable? Depends on demand and workload right?
