Since upgrading my PC I am making great headway and overtaking others. I have already gained five spots in the last week alone.

I have 32 days from posting this to make it into the top 100.
I have another PC downstairs just sitting around doing nothing, and if I can get it to run on a Chromebook then that will be the 4th machine to be running under my name!
I know that @Spotty was in 107th, but I'm not sure who they are on this list.

My name is Spotty for Folding@Home as well. I'm currently Rank 103 now.

on a chromebook, there used to be a web client until google killed off NaCl

 

now you would need to install some flavour of Linux. i recommend using GalliumOS with chrx(dual-boot). there's also crouton, which is using 2 OSes at the same time.

 

if your chromebook supports it, you can try running linux apps in chromeOS, though it is a public beta atm

Did some OCing and some other tweaking, plus added two new PCs to my workflow yesterday.

I've rebooted and my GPU still won't get a project. This seems to happen every few days with me.

Delete the slot then re-create it when that happens. Sometimes you have to delete, reboot, recreate

 

Occasionally, with Bad CPU WUs, I have to delete the slot, pause folding. Reboot, delete the work directory of the offending WU (be careful here on systems with multiple slots) then re add the slot, and then un-pause

I've done that a number of times today and still can't get a project for my GPU. I even uninstalled and reinstalled. I guess I'll just keep trying and pray I get some work.

Some people have also reported flushing your DNS cache and rebooting your home router have helped

ipconfig /flushdns
