But yeah the Chiappa Rhino is likely what you are looking for, gas recoil systems aside. They are pricey, but absolutely excellent guns. Available in multiple barrel lengths, pre-cut for moons, and they handle felt recoil like nobody's business. A Rhino loaded with .38 special feels like you're shooting .380, and .357 feels like 9mm, it's crazy.

 

Could also look for a Mateba Unica or 2006m, which were designed by the same guy as the Rhino, but good luck finding one, and if you do prepare to fork over an arm and a leg.

I got a FEG PA-63 last gun show, never been fired.

Some idiot in a discord server was trying to tell me to not get a gun I want, but an SP1.  But he’s also the type of guy to give someone shit for the 1911 being their favorite handgun (or anything other than some 9mm handgun that can carry at least 16 rounds).

 

He was also giving me shit for carrying a Ruger LCP and CPX-2... and telling me, unironically, that I should carry a CZ-75 or Glock 17. 

 

I like easily concealable firearms, I don’t want to try and conceal a full sized firearm.

 

Don’t be like this.  It’s okay to give people shit, but don’t be a gun snob or put down others for having different preferences.

My first attempt at a carry gun was a .380, but it was just too small for my grubby mitts.  It didn't help that it also bit my hand every time I fired it.  Never bite the hand that fires you!  There was no slide guard on the back, so my hand kept sliding up the grip just enough for it to catch.  For the time being, my LC9s Pro is the smallest gun I wish to carry.  7+1 loaded and ready, with 10rd extended mags in reserve.

I’ll admit I have smaller hands (I wear a men’s small in gloves).  But regardless of that, it’s easier for me to hide a smaller gun like the LCP or the CPX-2 (which is roughly the size of my uncle’s LC9, but also double stack)

 

lol, it’s obvious.  But this guy isn’t kidding.  He’s also a douche in the sense he gives everyone shit if they decide to carry anything other than 9mm, even though one of his carry pistols he brags about is chambered in .32

Yep pretty much.  I don’t normally interact with him, but he tries to force himself in every conversation unfortunately.

I know what works for me and that’s what’s important.  I’ll recommend what I think works to others, but I’ll never say that’s what they need to get.
