Worst Tech mistake you have ever made?

Mitch

@Windspeed36 the member @zSanosake has been obstructing constructive conversations for quite some time with his ignorant and purposely provoking posts. I'd say that his account has only been made for the purpose of trolling. His attitude towards well-regarded forum members has been terrible as well. I did not think that any of his posts were directly inappropriate so I did not use the Report feature.

If this would only be my opinion, I would have said nothing, but many people find this as well... Now nobody wants to escalate this situation, but I'd just like to politely ask @zSanosake to stop this most likely intentional trolling. There is a difference between logical arguments and trying to force your subjective opinion onto someone else by repetitively annoying them with it... Just looking at your profile will show this character trait all too well already, with the whole "I can't loose an argument" theme... Just stop please, it is not helping, and I don't see a reason why it would bring you pleasure...

I hope that "airflow" was a joke...

My fingers weren't on the same page as my head. :P I meant to type that it would have easy access to fresh air.

Embarrassing thing on my pc? where do I start?

1) case open from two sides because components don't fit (noctua cooler too big).

2) PSU not screwed to anything just lying sideways in place of the optical drive because case has no room for it and the noctua cooler.

3) the optical drive is just on top of the case at the moment, resting.

4) all storage is unscrewed lying at the bottom of the case because i had to rip out the HDD bays for my gpu to fit in the case(7990).

5) i have a crappy intel 750 mobo ddr2 ram (i think i am a sinner to have this config with my gpu).

6) a couple of fans just randomly placed, not mounted to anything, in the middle of the case just to give the gpu some air.

its a bloody Frankenstein. I cant have friends at my house because they would laugh at me.

Everyone were noobs at some point.

This reminds me, back in 1996 I was working in the university computer lab as an assistant.  This girl asked me where she could setup a free email account that wasn't with the @edu format because she wanted 1 for her friends and family and that was it even after graduation.  So I told her to go to hotmail.com and sign up, it's free!

About 10 minutes later she came to me and said, "something wrong, all I get is porn at that site."  I told her hotmail, she heard hotmale, suffice it to say, gay porn abounded.  Fun times.

My motherboard, it has a green pcb, only sata 2, only usb 2 ect

And LGA1156?

I use a VGA monitor and have one exhaust fan currently but I just ordered a Noctua NF-P12 1300 so that's soon to change

1080p VGA here with no exhaust fans at all.

I have an AMD HD 5450 as a gpu

No usb3

only sata 2

my monitor sucks and I have no plans to buy a new one

I use a 10+ year old keyboard

Leg me guess: LGA1156 and an i3. That would be my mobo.

One question: WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?

ASUS Sabertooth z77 has problems with the latches and clearance with long gpu's in the x16, latch got stick, could not move the card in or out, to ether leave the card there or very carefully pull out the x16 slot and snap the latch on the back.

sh1t happens man.
