Built this last week... my 2nd Star Wars lego kit... Got a couple more on the way too... I went a little nuts and ordered 4 kits in as many weeks.  But I'll have a B-Wing and an X-Wing to go with the Y-Wing and the Super Star Destroyer in the background.

Then in the new year... Tie Fighter, Tie Bomber and Tie Interceptor (May have to go MOC for those)... After that I think the Falcon and a Star Destroyer... there's some really nice MOC ones available that make the official Lego kits look poor in comparison. Same prices but 4 times as many parts.

Done this before, sram NX aswell, was a bugger to replace, luckily just had to order a new cage, lower jockey wheel and hanger, enjoy the new bike though!

My brother in law had this happen to him a couple of years ago too... Instead of repairing it he used it as an excuse to by an electric bike... which set him back almost £1000.

I then bought the old bike of him after taking a look at it, realised it was a simple fix... gave him £50 and spent £50 repairing it inc paying a bike shop to set up the gearing correctly (I was struggling with the adjustment)... So I got a £500 bike for £100.

Good deal haha. Derailleurs are super easy to adjust for me.. B limit, upper limit, lower limit and cable tension is easy enough. Shift into highest gear then pull the cable tight and tighten the pinch bolt, then adjust finely with the barrel adjuster. But the derailleur does look pretty intimidating.

Main speaker setup is now;

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

This game.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.

I've adjusted them in the past... but my last mountain bike I got rid of around 10yrs ago... and I couldn't get it right. 6 back cogs, 3 front... the 3 fronts adjusted fine but the rears would only adjust across 4 and no amount of tweaking seemed to work.

A local bike shop charged me £10 to set it up properly, took them about 10-15 mins. The dérailleur was about £22 and a new hanger bracket was another £8 and a pack of new chain links was another £10 inc the tool to remove link pins.

Yeah adjusting 3x's are a bugger, hate adjusting 3x6's or 3x7's, just an absolute nightmare.

ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTI just ordered a 3kg bag of these.... A childhood favourite boiled sweet. A bag of these lasts me the better part of a year. The last one I bought in 2017 and ran out earlier this year.  But I also had a 3kg bag of sherbert lemons that didn't run out until the summer.  :)

I don;t sit here munching them non stop... they're normally used to fill a mini bag when I got to the movies, or for long car trips and days out and so forth.  I could easily buy loads more sweets... strawberry sherberts, cola cubes, barley sugar, chocolate mini eggs... oh the list goes one and on... but so does my waistline if I give in.  :)

System 1: Gigabyte Aorus B450 Pro, Ryzen 5 2600X, 32GB Corsair Vengeance 3200mhz, Sapphire 5700XT, 250GB NVME WD Black, 2x Crucial MX5001TB, 2x Seagate 3TB, H115i AIO, Sharkoon BW9000 case with corsair ML fans, EVGA G2 Gold 650W Modular PSU, liteon bluray/dvd/rw.. I know that there's this stereotypical myth about people in the UK having bad teeth... But I've never had a filling, my teeth are in perfect health and I've not even needed a dentist in years. I clean them and that's it... good genetics apply to teeth too it seems.

Oh, lol, I just meant because you were buying a bunch of candy. ;)

The enamel on my teeth are kinda soft so I have to be careful. Had a fair share of fillings over the years...

You are as bad as I am. I buy sugar free dark chocolate in bulk directly from the Russell Stover factory in Tennessee since I can't buy any good sugar free chocolate in the one horse, piddle squat megalopolis I live in. I stock up during the winter since there is an extra charge for hot weather shipping in the summer.

What bites my ample asset is I used to have no problems finding sugar free products but they have been largley replaced with gluten free products. Adding insult to injury, most of the people on gluten free doets don't need to be on them, unlike most people who are on low sugar diets. ?

Went out today to buy a nice budget Orient Mako 3 automatic watch to add to my collect....I find that for a relatively budget price, the watch looks to be well built, and comes with sapphire crystal which is a 'must have' for a guy who's not so careful with his watch.

-snip-

While I was at the shop, I got to talking about Ball and the owner directed me to a Ball Bicentennial that I really like to, plus there was a promo going on and it was 20% off, it's a limited to 200 piece edition so I went for it as well....

I'm going on a forced self imposed diet of instant noodles/cheap take outs for the next few months, but these puppies are worth it!

Those are two very beautiful watches! ❤️

My only gripe is how they're not blue but considering how I betrayed the red arrows and instead got the blue angels version of the Citizen Skyhawk, I think it surprises nobody :P (plus I got it second hand for an amazing deal, let's just say about 1/3rd retail at the time)

As for the note regarding sapphire crystal, let's just say the previous owner of the Skyhawk has somehow managed to get two rather deep scratches onto it. Not complaining about it though as it gave me quite a bit of leverage to reduce the price even more! To be fair, my year old Seiko Solar X (which also has sapphire crystal) is completely clean in terms of the crystal but unfortunately I have scratched the paint on the ring at some point, rather badly ?

My two beauties ❤️ (taken months ago, I know, it is rather potato quality)

And before someone complains, as someone who holds an actual pilot's license, lemme enjoy them! I mean I actually do know how to use the wizz wheel...?

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...
