Yeah, because the Chinese government never lies and their designs are always original and never stolen. I'm not saying they're lying in this instance, I have no idea about the state of Chinese semiconductor technology, but they have a pretty solid track record of stealing technologies and claiming it's their own so I would not be surprised of that's what they did here.

High speed ram isn't going to help you with "future proofing".
If at all you're going to get longer lasting RAM by using a lower frequency, which also makes it more stable.

I went with 2800Mhz Dominator Platinums myself and I have to say that it was a waste of money from a performance standpoint. I can't reach 2800, cause it's not stable, and 2133 or 2400 would've been much cheaper. The thing is, Dominator Platinums are not available at that speed. But in your case you can easily pick 2133s or 2400s.

I have a feeling either would be a shocking upgrade.  Not only will the fps boost be impressive (if you go 1080p), but you'll almost certainly notice lower input lag with a monitor than you had with your TV.  Or, if you go with the 1440p screen, the sharpness will be staggering, since (and I am speculating a bit on your setup here but) most people can't even notice the difference between 720p and 1080p when it's on a TV at TV viewing sizes and distances.  When you're right up on your screen, you will be impressed

used pair of astros. it's certainly not the most optimal sound quality,but it does work on PS4 and PC without a whole lot of rigging.

if i was you,i'd wait for AMD's 8GB 480,they're bound to have less heat problems. it's probably going to run at $230 afaik.

other than the GPU and the CPU cooler,it doesn't seem all too bad.

if it's such a burden for you to buy a gaming-grade intel chip,just get an AMD octocore and stop whining about your poor decisions
if anything an AMDFX 8-core CPU won't top a core i5 but it's still miles ahead of pentiums.
