Changed a couple of things.

H105 is a better choice over the H80i.

Might as well go for an ATX size board.

Phanteks Enthoo Pro will fit the H105. Not sure if it fits in the P400.

You are fine with a 750W psu. The EVGA G2 (Not a Corsair rebrand :D) is an excellent psu with a 10 year warranty after you register it.

if i was you,i'd go with the teamred build and buy a 80+ platinum PSU and/or better + better water cooling (e.g. an H115i). that roided up processor is going to give you a repeated kicking if you're using anything below that afaik.

like don said, triple CF is just going to cause you problems in games that don't know what to do with three cards, let alone two.

for the case, any gigantic case would do the trick,i.e. a phanteks enthoo pro.

but, hey,it's your call. both of these builds aren't bad choices at all.

I don't even plan to use anything below Platinum grade as in my experience Bronze and Gold tend to fail after warranty is up... ;)

They do 860s  but it costs around $500 CAD I like Corsair blue series  Platinum very much.cost less and performance is awesome *knocking on wood three times*

That isn't true at all. The efficiency has no bearing on the quality.

Well on me tt and EVGA modular PSUs died even if I blow dust out case regularly every 6 months of maintenance Modulars Bronze andGold have trouble keep voltage in check and My ASUS boards always complained about it in UEFI...

I still have an "uncertified" Ultra LSP 750W kicking after six years of use, 2-3 years of heavy use.

Well, the fact that you even have a FX build in consideration is scary.

Best of luck!

because they're EVGAs... they're just horrible corsair rebrands. still, though,i get what you mean.

yeah... it does. its efficiency determines how well it does when nearing the rated power output. if you're going to jack your TDP and your overall power usage, you might as well take a leap forward in efficiency to get cleaner power rather than burning right through every solder point in your rig.

You think EVGA units are Corsair rebrands ? I think that says enough about your pc knowledge.
