EA Will Have Microtransactions on Car Gas in Need For Speed: No Limits

Ever feel like racing games aren’t real enough? Do you want something that makes you cringe when the low gas warning sounds? Well, EA has got you covered. In the next Need For Speed on android and IOS, instead of having to sit there waiting for your car's gas tank to refill(because that is what you've always wanted to do in a racing game) you can pay for the gas! Hip hip hurray for microtransactions! *sarcasm

Although the game has not yet been released on android, it has been released on IOS in several regions. Here are the screen shots:

The microtransactions don’t just stop at gassing up your car, the purchased gold can be used to upgrade your car and well.... pay to win.
I’m tired of games that add negative factors to get you to pay more(ie having to wait for gas to regenerate).
Please don’t buy this game, we need to send EA a message.

I wanted to get mad, but it's a iOS/Android game so it was kind of expected and I will not play it

No offence but is this really news? I'd be more surprised if EA, or anyone for that matter, released a mobile game without microtransactions.

STOP using prime95 with Haswell CPUs!

Not suprising, it's easy to fuck over mobile users.

 

I won't buy it, but then again I don't buy microtransactions normally unless I like the game and find reason to do so.

I don't think I've ever seen a racing game charge you for gas.  Cars, I understand, but gas? Just GTFO.

If you have to pay a fair amount of even get the game then I wouldn't bother. How much fun can you have racing around and draining battery life?

I know trials frontier did. This is pretty much the "pay to avoid waiting to play" option lots of mobile games have.

Will be funny if different cars have different fuel consumption. Would be hilarious if gamers start driving economical cars.

Please go and use real world prices. That'd be awesome.

IKR, I mean hell, just a few months ago I was getting shafted by gas prices, until...haha 2.50 for a gallon, hell yeah!
