Does a Core 2 Duo e6550 count...

Well I'm picking up a few to put in a few Dell Optiplex 745 computers, so yes I would consider it retro!

My Dell... Typing this out on it right now. Makes a nice secondary rig that is hooked up to my TV. Specs should be in signature. I would I take pics, but I'm in bed sick using it... It is still running off of its stock thermal paste from 2010... I plan on replacing it soon but the thermal paste seems to still be perfectly fine... Also, it does fine for Steams in home streaming, wouldn't be able to handle many of the games in my library if they were installed though. :/

Edit: I was given this after I built my brothers new rig to replace it. Got a free 650ti from it with some serious coil whine idling... :(

So i've had this laptop hanging around a while, turns out its a 13 year old Lenovo Thinkpad T30
I have ubuntu running on it, but I'm gonna work some upgrades and clean it up :)
Actually can run Windows 8.1 as far as I know, working on that now!

Dusty little bugger

Anybody have some ideas? Or suggestions on what I could do with it? I love old tech :)

Just thought id share

Nothing, he didn't ask for your opinion he just wanted to share with us, also there is this amazing thing called "ignoring" you should try it sometime, he wants your suggestion if you read the topic you would have known.

I think a mod will be happy about this.

I did read the OP... And I'm sorry that sarcasm doesn't exactly convey well over the internet. So don't go accusing me of lying. I just unblocked you a week ago (you annoyed me once and I didn't feel like dealing with it; I don't even remember what it was about), so don't make me want to go and unblock you, since I have a feeling I have missed a lot of your posts that you quoted me in due to that.
