Defective Arctic P12 Max?

Go to solution Solved by GuiltySpark_,

It happens. No worries.

I'm using an Arctic P12 Max as the fan for my Thermalright Peerless Assassin Mini and it will not go below 1900+rpm in PWM mode. Only way to get it any lower is putting it in DC mode but even then it only goes down to 1700+. The fan is supposed to be able to go all the way down to 200rpm but it just isn't. Did I just get a defective unit or is there some setting I need to change?

Highly unlikely that its the fan and not your PWM controller. Try another port or another controller/motherboard.

Nope, it's just me being an idiot lol. Checked my screenshot and I just had the fan percentage and temp settings switched in the BIOS. That's what I get for tinkering around at 4am lol
