yes, for the last 3-4 days things have been slow for downloads especially but uploads are slowish as well at times

I keep hoping they decide to do something for AMD cards. I just got a 6700XT a couple weeks ago and, while definitely better than my 1660S, I feel like its performance could be better utilized.

Haven't had the download issue for a couple of days now, so seems resolved. Also loving the extra workout my card's getting in the absence of endless small/low-yield WUs  😏

How much more PPD do the Core23 WUs seem to offer?

IIRC Core21 -> Core22 doubled my PPD...

Just checked HfM and see that p17116 a Benchmark WU is using Core 0x23 and I received WUs on Aug 16th, 17th and 28th. This project, however, only has 50,000 atoms and I see wide variability in PPD so they are likely still optimizing it.

 

3080 - 847k; 3.5M; 5M; 5.3M; 8.3M; 8.5M; 8.8MPPD

4060ti 7.8M; 8.3M;

4070    8.3M; 17MPPD

4070ti  9.4M; 9.7M; 9.0M; 10.7MPPD

 

There is also a p17114 Benchmark WU using 0x23 but I didn't process any.

 

Edit - Appears there were issues for p17116 observed - running to 100% then hanging. I did have some strange behavior around this time. System reboots on my Win10Pro Daily driver (3080) which I attributed to playing with Ryzen Master but, perhaps, running Core 0x23 contributed to it.

Starting to get ready for next folding month too!

I got a 4070Ti for my server, and I'm very impressed with the performance so far.

I see around 12M PPD with powerdraw capped at 150W. For reference, my 3090 does 8M PPD at 300W!

Nice - too bad that blocks so wide - doesn't look like there's enough room for a second 4070ti 😞

Chances are you could sell that 3090 for likely what you could pick up a 2nd 4070ti for.

 

Instead of "pl 150" to power limit to 150 Watts I'd suggest you try "-lgc 0,2205" to cap the graphics Frequency to 2.2GHz
