I don’t believe that the NSX is underwhelming, honestly. Honda set out to build the alternative to the standard supercars of today with the NSX, just like the old one, and they did a good job with it. The problem with people being disappointed with it is that they’re putting the old NSX into a retrofitted context and not its original context.

well prius tires allowed it to be throwable despite the lack of power. didn't take much effort to break traction on prius tires.

I just want a car with some character. which is so hard to find nowadays. That arguably just diminished over time in general.. look how crazy cars looked back then! Now look at them... kinda boring.

 

also now we can't have super lightweight cars that are still decently sized anymore thanks to safety regulations.

 

so where does that leave us? SUV's. Giant heavy blobs of pure boringness.

on the bright side, it had a manual trans option with a turbo in the nismo edition (which i admit made no fuckin sense whatsoever). the kicks that replaced it literally has NO FUCKIN PERSONALITY.

Honestly, even SUVs can have personality. The problem is everyone just wants to make the next big family or sporty SUV hit.

They’ve all gotten stale as fuck, and the Honda Passport is proof positive that automakers just lost their zing with making even unique two-row midsize SUVs.

I need to find my next car within a few weeks otherwise I have to extend my lease again (I am way under miles so its fine to do so). G35s seem to be the best value right now but I can't find a good one that is priced right. There is one on facebook that needs clear coat on the upper left sides of the car but edmundstmv shows it like $1,500 over priced already. Might just have to get a boring car or a total beater.. was hoping for something I could eventually take to the local track ?
