yeah but you didn't get it in the Ford Chassis with the ST suspension and brakes, also Factory Recaros in 3 or 5 door with all that lovely convenience of a hatch. you might have got it in the C30 (Too tiny for me) or the S40 (Too grandpa Business)

S40 too grandpa?

i do have to admit it doesnt look like its meant for young people like the C30 .... but imo the grandpa section starts with the S60/V70

they're not.. $20k you can still find a clean one, AP2 even. Try looking further away and perhaps flying out and picking it up.

This was an AP2, just thrashed. Talked seller down to 18k but we felt it wasn't worth more than 14.

 

Buddy's been looking pretty heavily all up and down CA but every one he's gone to look at has been way rougher than the price warrants. I don't think he's willing to fly out for one just yet.

 

Side note-- SS is a great road trip car if MPG isn't important. So comfy and so much brap.

while not a bad idea, the extra space in a typical econobox makes more sense. so long as it has a manual as I'm not going to deal with a cheap and slow automatic again...

Kind of want to. Have no where to put the miata and can't afford two cars right now is my issue. but yes the whole idea is im tired of beating on the miata everyday and want something I could care less about if it were crashed into or totaled or whatever....

Huh. Forgot that they were part of the same group, good point. On the other side, the Panamera Turbo and RS6 are supposed to have the same engines, but both behave very differently.

Yeah you guys wouldn't as you only just started getting the ST's (Or at least them branded as ST) 

 

It refers to the BHP from the factory, The upside is once you start modding most of the "Stage" 1,2,3 kits are simply referred to as STxxx. for example, my old ST150 had all the work done on it taking it to first an ST190 (Exhaust, Induction, Cams and Software) then becoming an ST210 (Adding intake manifold and under pully kit and new tune) 

 

My now ST225 is getting the ST340 kit basically, or if I want a Big Turbo can do the ST380 kit, So it kinda works out nicely instead of just saying Stage 2 and not having a clue if that's a big deal or not

V50 Gen 1 all the way, I love that car... also I'm keeping an eye out for a manual AWD one that's been in a crash so I can fit it all to my Focus

Kind of want to. Have no where to put the miata and can't afford two cars right now is my issue. but yes the whole idea is im tired of beating on the miata everyday and want something I could care less about if it were crashed into or totaled or whatever....

In fairness it is a Miata, Sell it, buy a daily and once you in a better place its not like Miata's are the rarest cars around, You'll find a new one.
