THIS, is one of the dumbest designs ever if you're sitting in the seat like a normal person and not putting a couple phonebooks down to look over the top of the dash.

And the way everything slopes down immediately, useless.

 

I'm used to not being able to see the front of a vehicle (believe me I would know every day) but that was horrible, I always left too huge of a gap when parking because I couldn't even guess where the front bumper was.

 

Plus it just looks tacky tbh.

The overall design of the dash looks very similar to my Mazda 3. However, as mine is the base model, I've dramatically fewer buttons, and the designers were smart enough to keep the (much smaller)  clock/radio display off to the center instead of blocking your view. 

 

Still lots of plastic though.

I would take the aston as well. Even though the 260z is a gorgeous car. 

Funnily enough 05-07 Astons usually go for about the same as a top condition S30 chassis car. 

 

On a sidenote. I may have decided on the Aston i'll get when i'm able

i'd still wouldn't buy one unless they are a manual. i've always seen astons as cars that are not fun in an automatic.

but why the paddles? because astons are the last new exotic sports cars that you can get in a manual, really.

So i could put it in automatic mode for quick trips to the shops and traffic. And still wring it out on b-roads when i feel like it.

if you ever get an aston you need to get the v12, its so much better than the v8

But I love this way more than I should, you can also see my stock headunit and cassette adapter that I can't wait to get rid of next year, along with my broken hazard button that loves to fall into the dash. Can't wait to get this car all cleaned up and up to date. Touched up my wheels slightly with plastidip today because it was in the mid 50s so I could actually spray. Got that state inspection sticker from Missouri off the windshield too. Love this thing way more than I probably should

40k euro is about 60k CAD

 

Call me crazy, but I'd take a GranTurismo with the updated 4.7L V8 over a high mileage Vantage, no matter how much cheaper the latter one is.

Decided to record a quick walkaround of the 9-5. Was so awkward to be in front of a camera again. Last time I recorded any video was in January I think. Felt nice though.
