i mean i appreciate the time and work it took to create this, but its a bit of an eyesore, and plus, it's based on an automatic, albeit twin turbo, supra.

I used to dis automatics. I learned to drive with a 3-speed manual in a 1939 Ford V8 Sedan, I learned to shift hard on a Super T10.  Then I got a screaming deal on my 300zx Twin Turbo automatic.  Truth is, I love it.  It is better than the manual transmission and it is faster.

 

It essentially splits the gears with the torque converter lock up, unlocks and/or grabs a lower gear under even slight increase in throttle position.  It is fast, both off the line and in the top end.  It shifts fast enough, but more importantly it shifts under power.  I don't even bother with manually selecting a gear, I just push it harder and up against the edge in the corner.  The  four speed automatic and the torque curve of the VG seem well suited together, because of the way it shifts gears it only has a small hole in acceleration from around 60kph.  The same hole exists in my Q45, but it is exaggerated by the Q45s resistance to unlocking or downshifting.

man, the one thing that annoys me about craigslist ads, or any private party ads for cars for that matter, is that they always say in the description how they have new aftermarket parts like new stereos or a new intake installed on the car, YET THEY MAKE NO INDICATION OF ANY OF THE PARTS INSTALLED ON THE FUCKING CAR IN THE PICS. like i need to know if it looks like it's been installed right. it pisses me off when they say they installed new parts on the car that are aftermarket, yet make no indication for what has been installed properly in any of the pics.

Turbo itself arrives tomorrow. Getting ALL the turbo parts off a Volvo 780 Bertone, so it's a Turbo+ system with extra chooch factor. 175HP and more torque factory rating. 1990+ manifold paired with the higher compression of my NA engine and it should be pumping 185HP before I touch the boost. 
 
On my $200 rusted to hell wagon. It's gonna be the tiiits.

My dad's got some old scaletrix cars that are worth £300/£400 each
