A lot of people don't understand, turbos don't only work at higher rpm. If setup properly and optimized for the specific power target range they can provide tons of power over a wide rpm range and have very little lag. 

<-- Has driven an EcoBoost in the dirt. You have a much harder time getting the truck to stay around 1700+ rpm than you think. You will need to keep it higher because if you ever drop out of boost, which can and will happen a lot, you're in a pretty shitty situation sometimes. It bogs the truck down and you can get stuck.

Sounds like it needs more power in general as well as better transmission and boost control logic programming.

Just got home from the concert. That was the best night of my life, only spent $103 including merch and stopping for food twice

well.... the corolla project might be dead.... i got the FIA documents from TRD and mailed them to the government facility that deals with modified cars (along with all the info that i could gather about my car) and today i woke up to an email stating that the vehicle i wanted to modify would get restrictions and wouldnt be legal for daily use (or any regular road use, it would be a rally car and only a rally car)

this is why i hate the government. they won't let us have nice fun things. :( same reason why we can't get r34 skylines in america till 2027. the 25 year rule needs to be shrunken to 15 at the very most.

I think Strando's problem stems from that he tried to get permission to register a full blown rally car on the street

never was a big fan of the sound of the ls, but the cheapness factor did get me there.

You live in america. Compared to norway and sweden you have no right to complain

 

The busso can be used in rear wheel drive applications as well. Adapter plate + Tremec T56

2J is the stronger engine. And isnt powering a car £35k more expensive than it should be

you somewhat do, because there are a lot of turbo kits for certain cars, but some aren't street legal at all.
