Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

I used the rear suspension from a 1/24 Ford f100 (axle mounts are the ones that came with the gremlin)

Pics:

(The hole is where the axle mount was suposed to be glued in but instead i flipped the axle mounts and glued them to the f100 leaf springs and glued in the springs and then glued the axle mounts to the closest part of the frame)@RatedBlam added pictures

One really good thing about moving to my own place is that i'll finally be able to get myself and engine block table

finished-2.jpg

Obviously going to have to do something better for table legs since i don't really want to fuck up the floors.

I wonder what kind of engine i'll be able to find though. Most likely a four cylinder engine or maybe a junk v8

why not put those felt pads on the pistons, like the ones you put on the couch legs to prevent fucking up the floors. i mean it's round, so you could put a felt pad on the bottom.

Get two i4 engines and build a dining table with an engine at each end. (Or get four junked 2-rotor rotaries and use one per table leg)

It'll probably be an old heavy iron block. (Can usually find some shot engines for $100-150)

So i'd have to distribute the weight a bit better to prevent it from slowly sinking into the floor. Maybe using the heads as feet and welding connecting rods to them

if its a v8

One is Porsche OEM and one is Mercedes OEM xD

OEM's will often get a tire built to their own specs.  the compound is usually the same, usually the construction is a bit different.   for example the Michelin PSS on the Focus RS has stiffer sidewalls than normal PSS tires...

Too much effort, as much as I like the idea I would never get a radial engine for a table.

@vetali

so I'm looking at buying a brake bleeder, I really want one of those vacuum ones that hook up to an air compressor and they suck the brake fluid out.

here are a couple I found on amazon, can you give me you opinion and possibly things to watch out for?  Keep in mind, I don't need anything super professional, just something to do my own cars and not gonna leak all over the place...  (I'd prefer one of the under $100 ones, the cheaper the better)

or should I just get something like this if I'm on the low end?

also, my air compressor is something like this.  not sure if its the exact model

Honestly a compressor powered vacuum bleeder is a bit overkill. If you want vacuum, a good pump (mityvac) and a reservoir works really well.

I personally prefer pressure bleeders. They will do a complete flush. Just be sure to get the right attachment for your master cylinder. https://www.amazon.com/Motive-Products-108-System-Bleeder/dp/B000TK9FE8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1471111018&sr=8-3&keywords=pressure+brake+bleeder

Why do you need these? Just put a tube with a bottle on one end the other onto the bleeder and start pumping the break... Same result with less money spent

/EDIT

Well i had my first driving training with my bike,  it was harder than i thought... Well if i look at the bright side now i know that my brake fluid is still good. I literally heard the rear brake cooling down :D .

went and got a baseline dyno, surprisingly strong car.  being in relatively shitty condition overall I kinda expected lower numbers... here are 3 charts or the same 2 pulls with different correction factors.  the one starting at lower rpm is a 3rd gear pull and the other is a 4th gear pull
