Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

My miatas speakers are terrible. They are very muddled yet the highs are too high and when you turn both down it still just doesn't sound right.... I got it as good as I could get it but it's meh at best. So much for being "premium Bose audio" lol

but you know I'm not a crazy music person in a car at least so I just need something to fill the background noise so I don't go crazy on longer trips.(esp since miatas just like most cheap cars are kinda noisy) And it works for that. So I can't complain.

I dont like music in cars that much either. Especially when i am driving the crosley or model t (but i rarely drive them anymore). Personally i just hate those really loud aftermarket subwoofers in cars. I just think there are better things to spend the money on that a cheap loud subwoofer.

I like listening to music while driving just because I like music. :D

Yeah I can't do that, it doesn't make noise. :P Granted I wouldn't want to hear it in the first place.

If I'm driving on a "fun road", the only music is the engine and tires. ;)

If I'm driving on a long trip on the highway or to/from work though, I usually got the tunes pounding.

You have two motorcycle engines powering a single axle wich occupies the space where your engine and front suspension used to be while using your rear tires to steer.

I find about half volume is most accurate. Anyway here's what the idle sounds like on my truckling.

For accurate representation, don't listen to it on mobile w/o headphones.

My own (stock) exhaust is really quiet. It's not really something that I mind.

After some decision making i have decided that the gremlin is going to become a 1960s styled gasser (not period correct for the car since it is a 1975 gremlin) but i much prefer the "whacky" 60s gassers over the more "generic drag" gassers from the 70s, going to shop around on ebay for 1/24 gasser/dragster scraps (and eventualy im going to get a high detail resin cast hemi with a huge blower, topped off with two carbourettors and "intake stacks" that look somewhat similar to what finnegan had in his chevy)

Ps: model building is addictive. (And expensive if you choose to deviate from the original kit like i do)

Supra prices need to make their minds up on whether they're going up or not. 3 months ago the cheapest was £12k, now not a single one is over £10k.

Oh and this is one for sale: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201608056514218?search-target=usedcars&make=toyota&model=supra&postcode=pe28us&radius=1501&page=1&sort=default&searchcontext=default&onesearchad=new%2Cnearlynew%2Cused&logcode=p&adPos=5
