Display Discoloration

Burn-in would resemble a recognizable pattern, and would require you to have the exact same icon there for hundreds or thousands of hours. This is a damaged screen. (As long as you can rule out any other object that could've rubbed color off on your phone)

Yep, that's looks like either a screen replacement or a new phone.
