Car Enthusiast Club [Now Motorcycle friendly!] - First thread to 150k! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

oh wow :( But yeah things like this scare me too.

You brake hard because someone is stopping in front of you and the people behind you don't pay attention (probably doing something else) (at least here).

california. one of the weirdest climates ever. in the desert, it's both scorching hot and freezing cold, the coast is cold all year long, the valley almost is like the desert. but it's just weird.

@bcredeur97 the Rolla absorbed the blow pretty well and is back on the road in mint condition now. The silver one is probably junked. Good cars though.

kinda similar to the first accident my dad had back a couple years ago, but the other way around. my dad was driving his protege on the freeway and he rearended a brand new nissan altima. protege was fine, just some headlight and bumper damage, and even drove 80 miles back home, but the altima was almost trashed, the trunk wouldn't close, the taillights were broken, even the rear windshield was gone. safe to say it was a goner.

Any opinions on the Ford Falcons being replaced by Mustangs here in Aus.? I've seen heaps of mustangs, very sad to see the Australian built Falcon being taken over by the Mustang.

Anyone else have an irrational fear of getting rear ended when braking even slightly hard?

Nope, people usually avoid me because it means almost certain death.

In case you guys can't tell. There's a sandrail buried in there. I should get around to getting that up and running this year. Take it out to the dunes.

I've got a list of cars that I'm gonna look into getting this year, from Japanese, to Muscle, to a few German cars.

Whatever it is, won't stay stock for more than a week, and it might be a bit haggard, but it'll be done gracefully, and done in the search for more power than stock. Kinda want to put C4 Corvette wheels on something, maybe a Miata, E36, 240SX, or some beautiful RWD drift car. Got the idea from Haggard Garage, but it looks amazing IMO and it's different than what most people go for.

GRC season 2015 highlights reel!

ICYMI Ken Block will not be participating in GRC for 2016, as he is taking his Hoonigan Racing Division and teaming up with M-Sport to run a Fiesta RX in the full 2016 FIA World Rallycross (WRX). Not too sure whether he will still be doing WRC Mexico or any Rally America events, of course all schedule permitting.

I'm debating on whether to return to Montreal this year for motorsport. It definitely won't be F1 this year, so my choices are either sportscars, formula drift canada, or FIA WRX.
