Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

Wow. An actual big company is now sponsoring Orion. Crazy.

Im not surprised, even though they are pretty horrible, they have a huge following and a fanbase that can probably afford to buy those wheels.

Orion is actually a really good driver. He was door to door tandeming with Ryan Tuereck earlier this month

I know of three facts in life:

  • Everybody eats
  • Everybody poops
  • Everybody dies

So they're probably going to be conversational topics in all circles at one point or another

I would ask ask him (guy who Let me ship it to his work who's helping me) to unwrap it but it's still not in his shop yet. He's gonna bring a trailer tom because it'll be too difficult to get it out of a truck bed because of the height limitations of the engine hoist

Guess I'm gonna have to learn how to roll my fenders when I get new wheels considering I'm going from an effective offset of +49 to +15 and going from a 6.5" wide wheel to 7" wide

Anyone have any tips?

I don't want bacon fenders on the daily

I don't want to, but there is a shop that does a great job. But it's $150 for the front, and the same for the rear. I'd rather not spend $300 for my fenders to be rolled / pulled if necessary. But I want to get things done properly

Mmm.. bacon..

I know there's tools to do it but I've never given a thought to rolling fenders before so I don't know what you'd need to do.

Check if there is something like an eastwood fender roller for rent.

Pretty neat tools actually

With how old my car is I'm not gonna risk rolling the fenders on my own. Rather not chip my paint to all hell and have a shop properly take care of it. Even if it will cost me $300 - $400

The struggle of not wanting to be a hack job

But I really hope I won't have to roll my fenders considering how sunk in my stock wheels are. But I doubt I'll get that lucky

Might still happen for a pro. Old paint has a tendency to crack off

The shop will fix any issues they cause. It's the reason they can get away with charging as much as they do and do a good job

I mean. They do all sorts of stuff, engine building, dyno, stuff like that

Actually the same shop I plan on going to if I ever need dyno tuning done

Here's their site

http://strictlyperformance.parts/

They're our only good shop, and everyone swears by them

Ford will apparently be implementing cylinder deactivation into the 1.0L 3 cyl ecoboost engine.

Getting pretty close to having a usable 1 cylinder car lol

y tho

wasn't it proven that the 1.0l didn't save fuel over the 4 cylinder because you have to wring the guts out of it to get any power?

Yeah they are aftermartket fairings :P
Previous owner dropped the bike in his driveway and replaced them with these.

It's the only one getting around my state with these fairings, so it stands out quite a lot!

The yoshimura (RS-5) makes it have a nice note to it as well, keep it up in the RPM's and it sounds off its whole trolley haha!
