Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

Test drove the 1.4T 6m version a few years back. Not a bad car, but also not stellar.

Makes me wonder what they will replace it with since that's the only small car they make right now.

as of right now, they haven't named a successor. :( so that probably means no compact sedan as of now. but i think FCA can survive without a sedan, since it seems crossovers are all the norm.

Yeah, or even put a V8 in there and make it RWD. Either would attract more buyers I reckon.

Rear drive and a V8 would be asking a lot. The Dart was designed around a transverse engine and transmission. There would need to be significant changes to accommodate a rear drive V8 setup.

I hope they bring back the neon and srt4 trim

The SRT-4 Neon was cool but from what I understand (I never owned a Neon) the standard car was pretty lack luster, so I dont see the Neon name coming back.

I was always hoping for an SRT-4 Dart though, sadly, not happening.

Hey car enthusiasts,

I like cars but I am not really into it. I came here for help with buying first car, I am 20 years old male, and I would like some input on what to get. My budget is about 3000 including something if it has to be fixed when I get the car. I need to drive the car to and from work plus going out on weekends. I am located north of Boston mass, and am looking for a car around this area. It has to be able to pass inspections!

I LOVE BMW's and I would love to have one but I don't think I could actually afford one especially if it often breaks down. Most people suggested getting a Honda civic which I guess I am fine with but I always appreciate a nice car.

Second question. When buying a used car what do you guys look at first? I will ask a mechanic to look at the car before I buy it but like if I saw one on the road what should I look at? And which site is the best for buying cars? Craigslist always feel so sketchy especially for this amount of money.

Thanks for the input!

im sitting down at a table upstairs in the computer science building at the college, and there is a little lobby area with an object in the middle. There is a guy literally walking around in circles around the object yelling on his cell phone. It's hilarious.

There's a few people like that in our office. Our office is very quiet and when these few get on the phone it's like they think the people on the other end can't hear them or something, they talk so loud. lol. It's actually quite offensive at times.

There are definitely people like that. I was in a cubicle for a summer internship and this guy sitting in the corner would be on the phone talking so loud that I could hear him from a few cubicles away. His "talking" also included cursing and annoying laughter. I learned about his daughter, his vacation, some problems with the project he's working on...

Those cars are dead reliable if they are taken care of. 180k is a bit high in miles though. You should be able to find a lot of similar examples.
