Quickest way to raise £50

limegorilla

Basically I'm looking to replace Android on my phone with a new OS called Sailfish OS, which has the added benefit of still having Android apps, IF you pay £50.

I am a high school student and can't really do early morning jobs

Any Ideas?

Bow down to me humans.

I can't help if you don't quote me. How am I supposed to know if you need my premium support? Now starting at £399.99 a year.

Also, be a sport and mark the correct answer as the correct answer. It will help pour souls in the future when they are stuck and need guidance.

if you have a good GPU you could mine i guess, you can get that in two weeks or so

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Look at his spec sheet, not gonna happen. Could get more money in Trading cryptos, but the risk is very high.

If you are technically skilled, do you know a number of people you could be paid to support their system?  May be they want to customize with your help for a fee?

Cut someone’s lawn or shove some snow if you are in the season. You can do it once as a one time job.

If you are tech savvy, put it to good use. Offer to jailbreak your neighbors/classmates phones for a fee.

Best way to make a quick 50 bucks is to beg and scrounge from your family at your age it should be pretty easy to guilt trip your way in to $50 just tell them it's important for your studies :P

£50 for a phone OS? When there's a mature open source one available? Does it give you superpowers or something???

That thing's still around? Shocking. Why would you pay for it though? There are loads of other ones you can get for free. I highly doubt this one is any better than those, especially at that price. Don't waste your money.

That would involve money to invest in the first place. If he has trouble getting 50 pound, I doubt he'll have enough to make that feasible.

Personally I wouldnt pay £50 for a phone OS especially after finding out youre probably going to have to spend a lot of time changing files and code to make it work perfectly on your phone , not when there are better free options already out there
