AMD Ryzen Full Lineup Prices, Specs & Clock Speeds Leaked

Literally the only question in my mind at this point is do I want to go with the 1400X or the 1600X.

The 1400X sure sounds an awful lot like an i7-4000-I don't care the numbers after that with cool auto-overclocking and a nice low TDP.  This would realistically suit my needs extremely well.

The 1600X is more of "#Yolo, it's only $60 more".  And it would be a fitting upgrade from my Thuban.

I think that the 1400X will be better for gaming and desktop tasks, while the 1600X will be better for workstation tasks.

Maybe think about it this way..."Do I want an i7-4790k equivalent or an i7-5820k equivalent?"

Sorry for the mess!  My laptop just went ROG!

So I assume it will beat the i3 with them 4-8cores it will barely be a better value then the i5s in a sense they aren't even trying to play with the i7s much I think... Why the hell are some of you guys taking their turbo speed and not their base clock speed...

Dude...

i5-4690k < R3-1200X <= i5-6600k

R5-1400X = i7-4790k

i7-4960X < R5-1600X <= i7-5930k

R7-1700X >= i7-5960X

i7-5960X < R7-1800X <= i7-6900k

i3 7th Gen and i7 7th Gen processors will have better single core performance.  However, it's not like anyone cares (have you heard Linus joke about how the i7-4790k and i7-7700k have a negligible performance difference?).

From what I've been seeing, AMD Ryzen will make every consumer processor except the i5-7600k, i7-7700k, and maybe the Kaby Lake Pentiums pointless to buy for the majority of the market.  The value is just too darn good!

I can see myself buying a 1400X, I specifically need a 65watt TDP CPU for the Dr. Zaber Sentry I ordered. There is no watercooling support or support for a large tower heat sink. It is limited to 47mm in air cooler height, I'm planning on a Cryorig C7. I see this offering being a godsend that Intel doesn't even offer. I was going to have to go with a 7600 non-K otherwise. At $199 that seems very fair. I'll buy-buy-buy all day long.

If Intel had a problem with that, then they would have sued AMD for their R7 series graphics cards.

$700 would be equally appealing.... For the same price as a 6900K, you would be able to get a CPU that is just as good, a motherboard and RAM and something like an H100i!

I prefer cheaper products because I don't have an infinite amount of money. You are consumer so why would you want higher prices? :D

It looks competitive, but I will wait for actual reviews! :D

Don't worry, retailers will gouge you "appropriately"; especially the online e-tailers ending with a "[dot]ca".

My guess is AMD have chosen the R3,R5 and R7 moniker to put it in direct competition with Intels i3,i5 and i7 SKU's.

A company would not choose a similar naming strategy as the powerful market leader if it did not think it could compete. By using this naming convention they are sending a powerful message to consumers...we can compete; but Ryzen has several advantages (physical cores, threads and price).

Considering the march toward greater thread utilization in games, then if Ryzen IPC is similar to Intel IPC, there is no reason to consider Kabylake i3, i5, i7 chips (for a gamer wanting to build a whole new system).

AMD will snatch a massive share of the market if the IPC is good and the prices stated are correct. The information provided so far is enough to get Intel worried and they will have to respond big.

I'm a little disappointed I have a 6700k because I have no reason to upgrade.

If XBOX Scorpio uses a multicore Ryzen CPU, we're bound to see more game developers utilizing multiple threads. If that's the case, I may upgrade sooner than I intended (possibly to AMD which make a nice change, as I've never owned an AMD CPU).

Me too. But $500 for a 6900K equivalent is too low....

Cost AMD the same money for Gloflo to make all 3 of those 8C/16T the rest of the cost is AMD's IP/company overhead. Could sell them all for the low $300 range and still make tons of cash.

Yes but they'll get more sales for having it to be significantly cheaper. Instead of someone saying "hmm. They're the same price but the motherboard is cheaper" and having to really think through their decision they can just say "Jesus christ it's like half the price. Buy buy buy! "

The 6900K is ~$1049 USD. I think $700 is still significantly cheaper than $1049.
