I am not sure how I feel about those shields. Actually... I think they're dumb. When you're that focused and in the game, apocalypse can't distract you. At least most people that I know are like that. I think I'd be distracted more by them than they'd help me block distractions.

Good think you can at least turn then on the back.

240 Hz?  Wow, that's a step up!  Wasn't the fastest until now around 165?

TN :( well

If by some chance it is a high quality TN panel, you might not even notice it at first, or unless someone tells you it's not IPS.

Well the stories are that some old CRT monitors could get up to 200, in 800x600 and 640x480.

On se serious note, we already have 240Hz monitor, namely ASUS ROG PG258, and some could be OCd to 180Hz like ASUS PG248Q.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

There was another 240 Hz monitor: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/FTsKHx/eizo-monitor-fg2421bk

Asus also made a 180 Hz monitor: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/pHGj4D/asus-rog-swift-pg248q-240-180hz-monitor-rog-swift-pg248q

First thing I thought of too.

This monitor just needs a stick with a carrot and it's off to the races!

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

I've been playing CS:GO on a 24'' screen for 3 years, and IMHO it's not enough. You need a bigger screen for Esports. Other than that, the price is really good considering what it is.

I am conducting some polls regarding your opinion of large technology companies. I would appreciate your response.

Microsoft Apple Valve Google Facebook Oculus HTC AMD Intel Nvidia

I'm using this data to judge this site's biases so people can post in a more objective way.
