To be clear, you only have the CPU installed, and not also a graphics card, right?

Most motherboards will disable the iGPU by default if it detects a graphics card, and so you'll need to re-enable it in the BIOS in order to use it alongside a dedicated GPU.

only the integrated graphics but when in the bios don´t have anything to enable de IGPU

Motherboard have on-board graphics

In these days CPUs have the iGPUs inside (only those CPUs that have iGPUs). Motherboard has the connectora for iGPU (which is on CPU)

Ryzen 8500G has the iGPU, the HDMI and DP ports although are on the back of the motherboard.

Dedicated GPU has it's own outputs in the PCIe slots also behind the backside of the motherboard..

@Oxphos

You are confusing us lol. How do you mean by "motherboard have onboard graphics"? Only a handful of motherboards that too over 10 years ago had this feature. You mainly have the integrated graphics inside the CPU package, not on the motherboard. If your display cable is connected to the motherboard, then it is using the integrated graphics.

Your problem is all over the place. Please re-explain what your problem is.

what do you mean as "return the processor"?

Return it from where you bought it and get a new one free of cost (hopefully). But before that explain exactly what your problem is.

PLEASE MARK COMMENTS AS SOLUTION IF SATISFIED!!

bigger number better, makes me look cooler.

It doesn't. There are no AM5 motherboards with on-board graphics - it would make no sense as only a handful of the CPUs don't have an iGPU.

In 2024, the only space where motherboard on-board graphics are a thing still is the server space, as no Xeon or Epyc CPUs have an iGPU, and some use cases require basic display out capabilities for a terminal or basic tasks like checking email.

Yes, when i install the IGPU drivers it doesn't detect the screen

This is the relevant information.

Are you saying that when you install the AMD Adrenaline drivers, that it makes your display go blank? Or that it can't find a second display?

What are the symptoms of the problem exactly?

The Microsoft Basic Video Adapter is a fallback option that Windows uses if you don't have the driver installed.

So you're saying that, when you install the driver, the display stays blank? For how long?

It's not uncommon for a graphics driver installation to cause the screen to go blank for up to 30 seconds - it can't update some parts of the graphics driver while the GPU is running, so it temporarily disables it during the install.

Have you tried installing the driver and letting the computer sit for a few minutes with the blank screen, just to see if the driver installation will complete?
