OP: Nvidia made a free optional mod, thus ruinning a singleplayer game for everyone.

This is a logic of console peasants.

I think it looks really cool and I will definitely try it out.

I feel that Gameworks implemented in this manner does allow for options, and thus competition for consumers as AMD is free to create such a similar, optional mod for their cards.

Does it add the effects to the overall game though?

If not one can safetly ignore it, making this quite a shitty click-bait thread title.

Seeing as they will likely need to add these effects using an ENB like system, I assume that it will apply for the entire game.

Which mod will they 'Borrow' from this time I wander?

But really what is the point of this mod apart from showing off lots of God Rays?

Better than Vault 970 where they advertised it as having room for 4000 people but really could only sustain 3500.

Not what I meant. I mean requiring this as an official game patch of sorts. If it's an opt in mod, even if it applies to the entire game, it should be fair game. Not different than many of the aforementioned, resource intensive ENB mods available for Skyrim and such.

Well it has the room for 4000 people, but the airvents are blocked off so you are probably going to die there :)
