hello..
i'am planning in buying corsair cx450 to power my new system consisting of

1- RADEON R7-360(tdp=100W)
2- i3-4160(tdp=54W)
here you can find about the OEM and Platform of my psu-(go to cx450(white label))
http://www.orionpsudb.com/corsair
IT says it is dual sourced meaning that EVERY MODEL that i buy consist of either a

1- CWT-CUSTOM PLATFORM or
2- great wall- GW-ATX650NL PLATFORM

my question-1.is this psu's build quality to power my 300W system(AS ON POWER CALCULATOR)
-2.As there appears to be two variant(CWT,Great wall) OF THE SAME PSU.so if i had recieved either one of them would it be reliable to power up my rig.?

Stop asking. We've already answered so many times. CX450 is more than enough. They pretty much use the same platform so it will be fine.

1. Of  course

2. Yes, both are good, though I'd prefer the GW one.

But you don't know what you get with the CX450 for whatever reason...

Sentey PSUs are usually pretty good, though they're mostly on the Asian market. Almost all of them are made by Super Flower, the OEM that makes EVGA's high-end stuff.

They're in this list because we do get people from China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Philippines and other countries in SEA asking for recommendations from time to time.

Take a look at the review.

Well I once bought a case from them and it came bundled with a 600w PSU that was pretty cool, until my 8800 killed it while running Crysis :(

I thought it was good only because it had 2 PCI-E connectors

ASUS X470-PRO • R7 1700 4GHz • Corsair H110i GT P/P • 2x MSI RX 480 8G • Corsair DP 2x8 @3466 • EVGA 750 G2 • Corsair 730T • Crucial MX500 250GB • WD 4TB

Well in general I'd recommend against buying a case with a bundled PSU. I'll correct myself and say that Sentey's high-end stuff is really good. Not sure about their cheap shit but even Seasonic's cheap shit is cheap shit.

I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole. It's really old and I couldn't find a review for it, meaning that FSP did not provide any reviewer with a sample. They're also not 80+ Certified despite their marketing (in other words their marketing lies). And it's only got 456W on the 12V rail. Ew, ew, don't get it, buy something else.

No, EVO means fully modular.

The normal M12II are semi modular.

The fuck EVGA? 2200W? Please stop.

Also, I can imagine a lot of miners in North America will import them from Europe, and wonder why they don't work.

Why stop? I don't see a new product being introduced into the power supply market is a bad thing. As consumers, we get more choices now, and a 2200W desktop PSU for consumers is unheard of until now. It'll be perfect for serious miners, I suppose.

I do not think negatively of a product if people misuse it. If people do happen to import them from Europe, the fault is entirely on them. Nor would I, if in a position of power, refrain from developing a product on the sole condition that people may buy the product in unusable conditions.

I just sold my spare unopened Antec HCP 1300w because I replaced it with an EVGA T2 1000w while it was being RMAd, then left it on a shelf for too long.

I still have an 850 watt XFX pro / black edition thingie that still works after many years of powering multiple SLI and Crossfire rigs, its actually powering my current 8700k rig cos Im not swapping it out when Im waiting for a new case to move my build into with the EVGA.

Then, and previously, my XFX goes back to being overkill with my Pentium G4400 lol.

I like tier 1 PSUs.

Linus is my fetish.
