so cables are out, now try a new psu maybe borrow from a friend maybe getting an 80+ ones.

have you tried changing sata cables? new ones? that problem is really weird thinking it carried over to the new build with new hardware. on my mind it would sata cables or psu not giving enough power to the drives.

okay, so you can try removing the mobo out of the case, try booting it up without the case. You mention changing ram sticks, tried cleaning the pins with an eraser?

reset the motherboard bios?

my guess would be an extension installed on the browser. but since you already formatted it. this will run down to softwares you installed. does the problem occur while on clean OS and only chrome installed?

2yrs is kinda long for me, try cleaning it up first. Also you might want to reapply thermal paste too.

this is probably a controller issue, the pcb at the bottom of the hdd. if their is still warranty, then replace it.

if you hear a sound on the hard drive when turning the pc on, then it might be a faulty sata cable, if no sound, then the hdd might be dead.

I'm using Windows 7, turned off updates, and still using it now. Got no problems or whatsoever. Been using it for games, browsing and media content. Smooth sailing ?. Sad to know Microsoft ended its support. will update to Windows 10 when games and applications starts to leave 7 behind. Until then, I'll use this as my daily driver

you have important files inside the hard drive? if yes, then backup those files and RMA that disk.

well folding phones are a trend now, i can only see it's use, aside from being a small factor, i can close the phone immediately if someone is peeking at it. ???
